I hear you brother but you have it the wrong way, in order to bear fruit you have to repent, not bear fruit to repent. Instead of focusing on all the fruit you want to bear just focus on turning to God in faith, He wants you to look to Him, that is the first work that pleases Him. Then ask Him to work on your heart to bear fruit and help you. Approach Him through Christ, keeping in mind He is the one whom the Father is well pleased and by being in Him we are relationally pleasing to God despite our actions by the law may be displeasing to Him. Begin to just behold Jesus and His righteousness boasting in his works with a sincere heart when talking to God. And if you even have trouble with that call on Him in faith to give you that heart and He will! It’s His pleasure to give you things according to His will. Faith > Call > Worship > Serve God bless you!

3:55 If what Graham is saying is true, then I should have been destroyed a long time ago....I was a branch that produced no fruit for many years...But I think he is flat out wrong, the Father will cut off a branch that bares no fruit, but just as Paul told the believers to hand that one over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, God is in the business of letting the prodigal go on his way till he comes to his senses thru the things he suffers...then after he learns to no longer walk after the flesh he finds that the life of the vine is all that remains and so he Abides as one saved from the fires of hell...You get it? You get cut off for your own good, not because we are sapping the life out of the vine...Christ who is our life is not so weak that he could not support branches who produce no fruit. No it's for your own sake you are cut off to learn that the self life is no life at all and so you return to His life in the vine...or I did at least and my walk with Him has never been more fruitful. So no, billy got that one wrong and that's okay...no body is perfect.
