dude! I did what you said. Thanks for your help man. Technical question: do you know how many simultaneous donations can GiveWP perform at once? In other words, if I have turned off my donation logon function and its just a straight-to-stripe path, does this affect my entry process limit and CPU? Or is it all stripe/GiveWP traffic and I dont have to worry about it? Its a good question :)

Followed the video with connected Stripe account. Everything looked great, but when I did a test donation I got this error: "The following error occurred when submitting the form: Something went wrong, please try again or contact support." Any suggestions on what went wrong? Also, is there an updated video? The plugin looks different in 2024!!!

Wellllll....Stripe Checkout linked and hooked and set as only option with GWP test mode disabled. Unfortunately ONLY test option shows up in form and if I try to add it to the form in designer, payment gateways is greyed out. If I'm missing something it's not very intuitive.

In my case I overlooked setting the gateway selection for BOTH the option-based and visual-form builder. Problem solved.

Hello can I receive donations from a debit card or a bank cards and PayPal at the same time my visitors are from the middle east and credit cards are not that popular there most of them have pre-paid cards

Yep, you can! Just enable both Stripe and PayPal and enable both with your particular configurations. Both Stripe and PayPal support debit/ACH/bank cards.

Hi Emmanuel! Check the GiveWP error logs. Whenever there is a payment error (declined card, etc) GiveWP displays an error on the front end to the donor and logs an error in the logs. Error logs are accessed by going to Donations >> Tools >> Logs. Look for any relevant errors. Use the "eyeball" icon on the right of the log to expand it, and then copy/paste the complete log into your next reply - a screenshot will not show me enough. I have the same issue. And I've got the roots of it. Problem is when ever a person AUTOFILLS the forms shown in donation page. Puts all the information correct. Hits the donate now button. It says "please wait". Nothing happens.. On the other side, if a person enters each form field MANUALLY, and information is right. Hits the donate now button, and it works. Problem is most people have saved cards, saved name, address etc. Please solve this problem. You can try it, the problem is there.

Typically that has to do with your Stripe webhook setup. Review our Stripe docs about that, or reach out to our support if you keep having trouble.

Yes. In your GiveWP settings area, you can turn off the PayPal payment gateway and toggle the Stripe Gateway on.

Hii. I have a doubt about the integration of Stripe with the plugin. In your documentation you mention a process of integration through API-keys. Is it necessary to do this integration? Or is it fine to leave it only with the Webhook integration?

The webhook is a one-way communication from Stripe back to your site. The Stripe connect option and the API key method of connecting both use the webhook method of receiving communication from Stripe. If you are connected via Stripe connect (the blue button method showcased here) there’s no need to fiddle with API keys at all. Let me know if you’d like me to clarify further.

Wait, I am confusing. The donation form on the video is just a test form or real? I mean, when you click the donate button, it will send money to your account or just showing information, but no actual money was sent to your account?

This video shows a form in "Test Mode" which allows you to walk through all the steps that a potential donor would take - but with no real transaction taking place. When you disable "Test Mode" - and have your settings configured properly - the donations should appear in your account as normal!

There is a major fault in this. I have followed all your steps. When someone opens the donation page, and if there is an autofill, the person whose sending name, email, is autofilled. Once autofilled, the donate button doesn't work.
