Thank you! You can check the mark schemes and find out which question application is required. Usually app is required if they refer directly to the business in the question "how business ABC can improve productivity"

Hello sir. I just took part in the June 2021 business studies paper 1. A part e question was as follows : Determine whether increasing training or introducing automation will be the best way for a manufacturing business to be more ethical. Justify your answer. I explained both methods well but I did not give a disadvantage for each. Will I lose marks?

It's difficult to say without looking at your answer and the mark scheme. Well done for finishing paper 1 and focus now on improving your technique on paper 2.

Hi there 1. This question has not been updated for the new syllabus 2. There is nothing in the assessment criteria that explicitly requires an introduction, however, there are many different ways you can access the maximum points.

Thank you! I'd focus on an advantage and disadvantage of wholesalers for the business in the question, but there are many ways of approaching this question.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. However, the recommended structure is just one way of answering. You could achieve 2k, 2AN and 2EV using alternative structures. Good luck

Could you write a new point in eva for eg . if a question is Do you think government spending always helps businesses. If i write yes because businesses such as road construction ones get contracts as government hires them to complete the peoject which increases their revenue However, to increase speinding government puts indirect taxes on the goods produced by businesses which increases the final price of goods of businesses therefore it may reduce the demand of the goods if they have a proce elastic demand thus reducing sales In my opinion, gov spending benefits some businesses because it could lead to better roads and so the raw materials could be transported to the factory in less time thus output could be made quickly to satisfy customer demand. can i get 6/6

Why does the marking scheme just say only limited to 1 knowledge,1 application,2 analysis and 2 evaluation? So does this mean you write both yes and no or just write either yes or no use 2 analysis,1 application then what you should do?

You can, but remember your focus in the recommendation is scoring evaluation marks so make sure you show judgment.

I advise against repetition, finish up with a reasoned recommendation in context - this will be different from what you have written in the main part of your answer as you are making a decision and explaining WHY you made that decision.
