I still have a question- what if I try to engage someone who is very shy but get no response from them like they don’t say anything …? How should I handle that a bit awkward situation?

Hi, thank you for asking this interesting question. It all depends on the way you ask somebody. There is an obvious difference between trying to engage someone and trying to embarrass them ! If you get no response, then try this sentence after asking your question : " Don't you think so ? (and try calling them by their name). I'm sure that anyone who reaches the group discussion would not stay silent as everybody realises that the group discussion is the step that comes before the last one ( face to face). Thus, candidates do their best when they reach this important step. Best of luck !
