This came at just the right time! I’ve got auditions on Monday and Wednesday, I’m rooting for a character after being an ensemble member for three shows with the same group, and I’ve been told by a director she thinks I’m ready for a role! 🤞 I shall try to update!

I will also say your potential box you fill may shift and change over time, not booking a show you would have been a sure thing for 5, 10 years prior doesn't mean you lost skill or got worse, it can simply mean something about you has developed that wasn't there before and its pushed you out of a certain box and into a new one. I was heavily in the princess/plucky young boy box when I was younger and now am pretty solidly not that lol

The casting agents are rooting for you - they want to cast the roles for crying out loud! :) Go in and look at it as an opportunity to do what you love and get an opportunity to meet people...
