I tried to understand your question, on which part specifically? for the bodice ( the lace part in white) I used 1inch for the back depth neckline. The same basic neckline cutout i.e 3inch in width 1inch in depth for the back. For the tutorial itself which is the bishop collar,as the video illustrates I calculated the entire neckline both front & back and did my calculations. Lastly for the inner part I used the same depth for both front & back for the satin fabric.
