I really love Griffith as a character, I a lot of people hate him for the type of person he is but thats the whole reason i’m fascinated by him, his up bringing, his downfall and his rise are all to real , and his tenacity to chase his dream are admirable regardless of what you think. He was presented with two options to fulfill his dream, or two live life as immobile man who’s dreams where as shattered as his body and settle for mediocre lifestyle. People forget chasing your dreams and desires are inherently selfish and you have to sacrifice certain things like time, energy, relationships and people (metaphorically). Guts did the same thing when left the Hawk but people fail to acknowledge this, it may have not been on Griffiths scale but it still remains the same. Im not justifying Griffith actions but he saw things through to the end. You will be mine. Our dreams are our birthright.

griffith is probably the worst example you could use to achieve your goals 😭😭

I get how you could take issue with *what* he does to achieve his goals, but *how* he thinks about it is definitely valuable. It's like a 48 Rules of Power kind of situation- expanding your options doesn't mean you can't have a moral compass when choosing which ones to act on.

@@animerewrite The thing about " 48 Rules of Power " is that if you have anyone quick whitted and a talent for Machiavellian games, well as being compassionate. You are going to get totally skull fucked by them. It's like a INFJ-t personality type that's on cold rage mode.
@animerewrite11 ай бұрын
@@silverstar603 yeah tools have a lot of facets to them that basically come down to providing leverage to whatever party's using it. You could have a "perfect" society, but it would still probably need access to a nuclear bomb as a source for political deterrent against aggressors. But of course, that doesn't mean someone else couldn't just flip the switch on their death bed cuz they're that narcissistic. I'd say that Griffith is largely a product of his times. Virtually everyone is violent in Berserk in their own way. And he enjoys outwitting people, but there isn't much evidence that he has the characteristics of a horrible person in isolation of environmental contexts. That said, a person with a clear and observant mind who'll take decisive action is generally someone you don't want to be on the bad side of. Nobody's invincible, and they WILL find the crack in the proverbial armor.

DONT ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS LIKE GRIFFITH, THAT IS TERRIBLE ADVICE!!!
@animerewrite11 ай бұрын
Doing the things he does, I can definitely see discouragaing. But going about it the way he does can be done in a moral way while still benefiting from the advantages his approach to goals would offer. Think The Prince by Machiavelli- you can refuse to do certain things he'd recommend, but it's still valuable to understand that kind of thinking.
@LogoSystemCG11 ай бұрын
in a very fundamental aspect he was already killing people in his name it's just less evident and brutal than in the sacrifice but on a logical and mathematical vision it's kinda the same just that rng is based on how combats goes and people have the freedom to live or die regarding of fighting skills. basically don't have any empathy to reach the goals, in that aspect i found myself into griffith@@animerewrite
@animerewrite11 ай бұрын
@@LogoSystemCG yeah, I think that much of that is simply a product of the times. Cute grandmas would be walking down the street to get bread and ignoring the corpse sticking out of the alley. We just don't have the experience to understand what it's like to live in that time. So really, Griffith was essentially an entrepreneur whose chosen trade happened to involve fighting and killing. I think once he'd gotten to court he would have barely inflicted violence on others unless they tried pulling Count Julius or queen nonsense. It would have been curious to see how Griffith would rule once he had all the power and no one to kiss up to.

Nah, there's definitely a discussion to have regarding how much of Griffith is left in Femto, but he's undebatably not just Griffith at that point, since he'd been physically transformed into Femto. Griffith as a person really doesn't seem to exist much, though, when in Femto mode. There's essentially resentment and achieving the goals of the godhand, and little else is shown. But to answer simply, no- no justification of the rape's implied by this video. If you want to achieve a goal, it includes aspects of how he does that. Nothing more.
