Having an LLC is not enough. I tried using shopify payments with my non resident LLC and they needed me to provide proof of operations in the US

Great video, but you still need an operational presence for Shopify. We are Shopify partners. Specifically, Shopify says (for non-residents) that if you are a Company, LLC, or similar business type, you must be registered with the government of that country and also be able to provide evidence of substantial physical operations happening there. Some examples of operational presence could include (but are not limited to): You rent or own warehouse space and ship your orders from there, you have an office there with employees consistently occupying the space, or you have a retail location(s) there.

Pretty sure changing the country of your store to a location where you do not operate from is in breach of Shopify's terms of service, and could get your store closed

if you do that they will block you "you cant update your account anymore" and then to get it unblocked .... good luck , nearly impossible. you are red flagged.

Hi, at minute 8:33 you say we can put the last 4 digits of the EIN but below the box it says 9 digits. Will it work if I just put the last 4 digits of the EIN?

@@DigitWise0 Update August 2024 - NO the 4 last digits exactly as in the example in the video , US LLC and living in another country is not enough - rejected , you need 9 digits
