Opel is simply brilliant, I really can't believe that many people don't know that you can use another menu to turn off the engine using the foot pedals, read the error codes, in kilometers display, for example I had 2 errors in the air mass meter, dpf, simply brilliant, I showed this to my mechanic He was completely amazed himself and happy that he typed in that direction otherwise it would be really embarrassing for him, so dear people use this secret menu, there are already some videos about it on KZbin, best regards

⚠ BEWARE ⚠ - in certain firmware versions, access to hidden menu causes random wake-ups of infotainment system if the vehicle is parked so that the battery will be fully drained in 2-3 days! The way to reliably undo this problem is to disconnect the battery, wait a minute and then re-connect, so the infotainment is reset. (Then it is no longer in hidden menu mode. Hidden menu mode can be also switched off by the same button sequence as it is switched on, but I am not sure whether it is also as sufficient as disconnecting the battery to stop battery drain.)

Oops sorry. It's not what I said, it's more like: "v: 0 T: " and two figures so I guess it must be the speed and coolant temperature... Is that possible?

Not sure if this works for Astra aswell because my LCD screen does not have the same menu as yours does. My LCD shows FM Radio, outside temp and date only. 2006 model

Nope it isn't. You propably have BID screen, and on video we have GID screen.

@@CasSpell You need another screen which is GID. Google it. There are 4 types of screens. TID, BID, GID and CID. If you're gonna buy remember to buy screen that isn't locked to previous radio. Or get someone with right tools to unlock your new screen.
