Remember Lori to not allow Satan or any one else to condemn you now. Religion has a way of talking about your sin, when it's not you job to focus on that. Your job is to "work" to believe in him. That's a task in itself it you understand it. It means asking Jesus to help you recognize intrusive thoughts, Satan's suggested thoughts etc and then casting them down all day every day and taking them captive by the wisdom and power of the spirit. Prayer and reading the word also applies to our work to believe. Something the Lord has shown me over and over, is to investigate the origins of why we are doing the things we are taught to do by the world, self reflecting from an outside of myself perspective and to repent and turn from the ways I've been taught. Then he is faithful and true to bring me to the next place and reveal to me the next truth, that i usually have to understand , and repent and turn from. If we all do this on a daily basis , in prayer, the reading of the word, and investigating the origins of our practices, we will become one and in synch together with the Holy Spirit, across space and time.
