This guy isn't just teaching youth....I'm 45 and a long time player coming back after 20 years who never used composite or aluminum sticks.

Thankyou for this channel Sean . I haven not played in 17 years and am playing forward at 41 yrs . I never have used these carbon sticks before . I Was told a p28 is a good start currently using a CCM Ribcore team W/90tm bend and a ribcore team pmt 3 W/P88 curve , Any SUGGESTIONS Sean would be greatly appreciated

Im 28... started playing 'organized' hockey in grade 11.. never knew how to shoot the puck, never was taught. Got lots of top shelf goals but not using the sticks flex more of a flick... even got MVP at a tourney in the states for my stickhandling and speed (Im canadian).. Im playing mens league now and im struggling to get through people using my speed and stickhandling... Im just now learning to shoot the puck since i got a flexier stick now lmfao.

I'm in my 3rd season of beer league, 3 seasons total growing up, still can't seem to get shooting and stick handling up to par. I wish I had someone like this for training in Alaska, I'd pay them a pretty penny to work with me on essential practices for a week

Ok, just noticing that in the previous video you did on shooting technique you taught a weight transfer from left to right leg. Here the shot is off your left leg to activate the flex. Are both ok?
@daftelf Жыл бұрын
Both are fine. Most people learn to shoot transferring weight from their back leg to front at first, then learn to shoot off the front leg later. Need both eventually but you might like one more.

sttruggling to figure our right stick height - seems i lose all the flex when I cut it down to nose height (not on skates)
