I've been using that since day 1 BUT BEWARE, some characters have some very powerful jumping attacks that will beat it clean.

Yes man! Had this happen to me way to often. Buttons like JP jHK… Knew he is gonna jump. Just waiting for it and then the dKk just lost clean and the round is over. If you have the enemy cornered I would recommend keeping them there with a DP anti air

It's a great option but some air attacks will eat this move up for breakfast and you gotta make sure its at the right distance. However if the stars align this is definitely a game winning move.

Rookie - gold players love to jump in with bad spacing. I got to gold with Jamie and Manon literally just by anti-airing. But now I'm trapped in gold with both because I have no fundamentals lol

I've recently been using dKK for my anti-airing and having great success. It has been a game changer! When I first started playing the game I stopped using it because I couldn't figure out the timing and thought it was bad. After I got better at the game I came back to it and oh my God it seems almost unfair how much damage you can get off of it. Anti-air into level 3? Crazy

I would always try to AA with 5HK with Cammy in SFV (for possible CC) so this video is gonna make me lab with Jaime.

I found tonight some jump-ins done early enough are hard to hit with this, not sure what do in situations like Luke or JP throwing out really huge air moves that catch me doing this

Certain jump in buttons have hitboxes that go directly downwards like a spike - Ken’s j.HP and Zangief’s j.MK are some examples. With these ones that are designed to be kinda OP, you may want to DP or Air-to-Air since even the best anti-air normals get eaten alive.

His light dragon is more reliable. Way less damage but at least it's fully invicible and you get pressure.

As a Jamie Master i don’t recommend this move for a anti air. This move too much risky i swear guys

I agree it’s a bit more risky against strong jump ins like Ken j.HP or Luke’s, but against most of the cast’s more horizontal-hitting jump ins, this move hits quite consistently. For example, it beats all of Marisa’s jump attacks 100%, and Ryu’s as well.

@@WeHoBo well i can try again. But i prefer jump and HK (in counter) it’s a free combo too and its more powerful. (You have to anticipate. Yeah its not that easy too)

It sure does! It’s designed to anti-air jumps in front , but doesn’t hit cross-ups or near cross-ups that well. Hope this helps!

Is ryu doing empty jumps? I couldn’t pull this off with the anti-air preset training. Ryu would beat my anti air each time. Do I need to be at a certain distance?

Hi! This move anti-airs jumps from afar. If your opponent is crossing you up or nearly crossing you up, then this move doesn’t work that well. Hope this helps!
