Great video, randomly found your channel through the recommended tab and am happy to find a math based optimization channel. Got a question for you though. These builds we see you put up on screen are they in order of build order? Like in the example with the Sol builds her #1 rated build looks like you start with death bringer? Then demon blade second? Would this not be very expensive for a first item on her? Typically from my experience just playing the game smite 1 and 2 you dont typically start with such a expensive item like death bringer first. Or are the builds shown not in order? More of a "get these items but the order is up to you"? If they're in order from buy first to last then is the model thinking "how do i keep their DOS the highest throughout the game" or just taking that into account once full build is reached?

@@thedoomslayer5863 Hi! Thanks for the comment! Yeah the builds are unfortunately spat out in a random order as I have no way to actually calculate order! So buy them in which ever order you see fit. So yes the builds are what you’re aiming for late game, but the order is your choice

@@SmiteMaths Gotcha. So the effort on our end is to determine what is the best order to buy the items in. Well at least that is a lot less complicated than finding the best items in general. And it may be impossible or very hard to find the optimal buy order in the practice mode. Maybe custom with bots but that's not very accurate either. Either way, Can't wait to see you do this for junglers/assassins. Btw. To hedge against a patch making the entire video irrelevant you could use YT shorts to post updates to videos that are quick and cover and god or item changes. Just a thought.

Not your typical hunter, but which of these (if any) would make most sense on a hunter Zeus? 🤔 He gets a lot of atk speed and movement speed from his 2, has a stun and gets 60% stronger basic attack from his passive, which now doesn't go away when you detonate to stun. He's usually my carry pick if Sol was picked by the enemy team before it's my turn to pick since Jing Wei is always banned. His 3 can also serve as a way to finish an enemy that escaped, though he does have the weakness of no escape outside of blink unlike the other hunters.

Honestly after I uploaded I did think about Zeus, maybe I should have modelled him! The only issue with building him with strength is that all of your abilities scale off Int, so you’ll have really low ability damage which might feel really bad, but a 60% increase to auto attack damage is actually crazy if you fully stack your passive on someone, with deathbringer as well you’d actually do insane damage, without crunching the numbers, I’d probably recommend a build like Cowl->devs->demon blade-> exe->deathbringer->muashis dual swords/titans Bane thanks for the comment!

Isn’t executioner prot shred and not penetration? Those two things are calculated separately despite having similar effects.

Not in smite 2, in smite 2 it just gives you penetration, I think they might change this, but as it stands it adds to your penetration, it doesn’t reduce enemy penetration

hey dude, outta curiosity how did you learn that there's no penetration cap? also, at 7:25 it seems like you say those 3 builds dont utilize ob shard but the bottom row center build has it

When the game was first announced they said they didn’t want to introduce caps because they didn’t want to restrict any mechanics or builds, but I also tested this in jungle practice and saw that 100% pen gave true damage. Thanks for pointing out that error! I literally watched this video about 10times to check everything but that slipped through! I was meant to highlight the bottom right build!

Hear me out neith burst build and trust me it works I’ve tried. Sands, thoth, gem of iso, poly, rod, deso, soul reaver. No tank can take all the burst and no squishy can live your 123 combo. U have to play souly off your 1 tho so I can be shut down just really fun.

Sounds great! The recent smite 2 tournament saw neith build a full int build with transcendence so the burst approach is definitely viable!

Did you take in count bumba's spear? I know you lose 45% attack speed but the 35% more damage on structures and jungle bosses is quite nice and bumba's golden daggers is quite nice early game.

Hi, yes I did model it but it didn’t appear in the top builds because hunters cowl is just so good. But it’s definitely a good item when not just considering damage to enemy gods! I haven’t got the information in front of me atm but I think you can probably take any build from this video and swap out the starter item and it will still be decent build!

I did model it with 2 stacks and it didn’t appear in the top builds, but with 3 stacks it could be a great item in a hybrid build for Sol or cern, definitely not a terrible item, just not the highest dps

True question here, how viable is the “true damage build” Core items being Ob shard, Titans, Executioners, Demonic grip plus 2 other items and the starter. With Sol I was getting 1000 dps in the practice area so no clue if that’s any indicator of how viable this is

Hi, so the issue with this build is that demonic grip, executioner and totem of death don’t stack, which is why you don’t see any 2 of these items in the same build in my video. But I’m pretty sure you can get 100% pen in a build, and honestly I think it would be fairly viable because of how efficient pen is as a stat, but it will not do more DPS than the builds I’ve listed in my video, maybe if the enemy team all built tanky it would be worth it, but for a standard team comp the builds shown in my video will do more damage! Yeah hahahha, in smite one I managed to whittle the builds down to 300000 combos, when saw saw how large my list of combinations was I honestly thought I wouldn’t be able to test them all, but I found some massive efficiencies compared to my smite one code so luckily I could test them in a reasonable time! Beads personally, deaths tole/dagger if jungle. Devourer's gauntlet. The reaper. Hydras. Deathbringer. Musashis.qins blade. Early game play safe unless ahead Mid game is around hydras being completed. If you haven't fallen beside or honestly even if you have you with kill any one not building phy Def. Late game everything dies to you but don't be stupid just because you got most likely smites best time to kill in game two tanks can still disrupt you if you are not smart. Anyways just go have fun and try it out.

Hi sorry, I modelled both him and Neith as standard hunters with no additional benefits to their auto attacks, I could have given him some up time on his 1st ability doing 20% Additional damage but I decided against it, if you want to Anhurs builds look at the standard hunter section :) thanks for the comment!
