Wish I did the method of holding on to something while practicing learning kickflips. I ended up with chickenfoot for years

I’ve been doing something similar as number 3 with shove-its. I stand to the side of my board and have my feet where I have them on the board and do a few practice “flicks”. I get close for a few tries before the technique “wears off” and I have to do more practice flicks to get the feeling back. I spent 25mins today before finally landing a janky one (but had half a dozen close ones with heel touches). My main issue is landing with my feet too close together

I CANT LAND ON MY BACKFOOT. I immediately put the backfoot on the ground while my other foot is in the air and does the flip. I need to do this because otherwise my back foot is blocking the flip

Shuvs and pop shuvs are harder to commit to for me (Unless stationary)

@@Sure2Skate really focus on bringing your back foot forwards immediately after scooping back, thats what helped me commit
