I never really look out for myself, with depression and a burn out that came from it. Two weeks ago I chose for myself instead of others, instead of doing what I felt like I had to by others, and I quit school. I am having like a vacantion at home right now to prepare fulltime working and I am more chill and less stressed than I have ever been. My tip #1 is to treat yourself as someone u really love and care. For example, when I'm about to self-harm I think: Would I hurt my kid like this? Because of course I love my kid, and I don't want to hurt him. So yeah, that works for me.
