Everything she said works ! My hair is at mid back length when straightened. I quit bleaching. Leave it in a loose bun 5 days a week (because I work from home). Only straighten and trim 1-2 times a year. Shampoo and condition once a week and my hair has CHANGED. Even my friends and family noticed when they see me how healthy my hair is. The secret is really low manipulation and time

How do you keep your hair from getting detangled?
@melho.martinez761 Жыл бұрын
No color. Trim regularly, curl by curl. Learn your hair. Shampoo once or twice, depending on shampoo. Deep condition weekly. Microfiber towel. Scalp massage with oil. No heat. Detangle GENTLY. Flexible soft bristles are best. Low manipulation hairstyles. Silk or Satin scrunchies! Along with pillowcases. Let your hair be. Give it a few hours or overnight post wash to just chill.

1. Get Professional cut twice a year, but trim hair yourself every 2 months 2. Understand Your own hair & scalp 3. Wash hair every 5-7 days 4,. Deep condition every week for 10-15 mins 5. Use microfiber towel 6. Do scalp massage with oil once a week 7. Try not to straighten hair, bc you are gambling with your curls 8. Be gentle with your tangles. Use a detangling brush 9. Do low-retention hair styles 10. Satin-scrunchie 11. Satin pillow case 12. Colored hair must be maintained very well to remain healthy, NO BLEACH 13. Let hair BE!! NO products for a few hours or overnight! 14. Keep it simple!!! Moisturized & clean

I have been using this hair growth serum of reactivate littleexttrra for a really long time now and feeling good with the outcomes I have got with it... it's my third serum bottle now. This one has to be applied to the scalp so it performs like magic to a dry scalp. I use it normally before bed time and just massage it well into my hair....and wash it the next morning. I have seen hair growth and improvement in my hair density.

This is why I love your channel so much! So many great tips. I also noticed my hair wouldn’t grow past my shoulders whenever I first went on my healthy hair journey. I did everything: I ate right, drink water everyday, do protective styles and use satin bonnets/pillow cases and I still couldn’t get it to grow. My hair is definitely healthier than what it use to be BUT I still have really dry hair especially in the winter and I’m also, still struggling to to this day, to find a very moisturizing product that lasts more than 3-4 day’s moisture wise. So that means I’m constantly having to touch and take down my hair from the protective style just to keep it hydrated and I feel like I cause breakage by doing that. My New Year’s resolution was to get my hair past shoulder length and this video is very helpful. Although we have different hair types, I feel these steps can be used for anyone with curly hair so imma give it a try but first I need to find a moisturizer or deep leave in conditioner full of butters or make my own if I have to.

I lightened my hair a few years ago for the 1st time at a salon... It was the worst decision of my curly hair life. I lost a HUGE chunk of hair after about 9 months. It took me forever to get it back. 2yrs after finally getting it healed, I then had a new girl at the salon do a blow dry. It ruined my hair in that 1 instance. I am here because I think after 20yrs of salons, I think I'm done. And I'm going to start a journey of nourishing my hair, not just styling it. Thanks for the tips.

Love this video so much! & all these tips are great. I want to add one more that I notice A LOT of curly girls do not do & it is a REAL game changer. Adding heat to your deep conditioning routine weekly will work wonders on your hair!!! Yes,! Invest in a heating cap & doing it consistently over time you’re not only going to see growth with your hair, but the health of your hair will be out of this world. I have been deep conditioning with heat since I was a little girl & I can attest to the fact that my hair stayed healthy through all types of stuff. I was platinum blonde at one point as you can see in my profile & I had NO damage that’s right NO damage & I accredit that to me applying heat on my deep conditioning like clock work again since I was a child. Definitely gotta tap into that.

My 11 y/o has waist length curly hair, and it's so thick that I can't get my hand wrapped around it all. I swear it's because I didn't do the tight braids and slicked styles. She was uncomfortable in them and I have never been good to braid, so it's been a lot of loose ponytails for her. Now she has more hair than we know how to properly handle!! 🤣 and it's soooo gorgeous.

So true, i got a trim almost a month ago before my braids and my mum said my hair looked fuller than it has ever been. And before that around 3 months or so ago i had taken scissors and just cut what i felt needed to go. I cut alot but i didn't care because my hair grows fast. And it felt better i felt releaved. Rn i miss my curls but am not teady to go back to wash and gos😭🤦🏾♀️. I also think diet is another factor that plays a role to the health of your hair. Staying hydrated and eating fruits veggies do help.

finally someone who will admit, bleaching and lightening your hair CHANGES it and not always for the better. i had such curly hair until i started lightening it and i only did it because all my hairdresser friends said you just gotta moisturize it and it won’t be unhealthy after bleaching it but that was a DAMN lie my hair never curled the same idek what happened but my hair texture changed and even felt different like more brittle. tired of these ppl saying you can achieve light blonde hair without having to chop it all off because that ain’t the reality for everyone
@Golden_Mercedes Жыл бұрын
WIGS. if you wanna change your appearance please don’t bleach it use wigs to change your style up. it can seem like a big initial purchase but it’ll be cheaper than the lightening process and all the money you gave to spend finding new products if the bleach changes your hair texture. wigs save me inches of my length now
