If your diamond or below all you need to do to rank up is play DELIBERATELY! That means you have to think and be able to give a reason for everything you're doing. Assessing your deaths is only one part of playing deliberately. The best way to tell if you are playing deliberately is by checking how often you look at mini map or press tab. I used to think that I am hardstuck gold 2 also but in the reality it took me almost 40 victories or less to move to plat 1 today, I literally got to plat 1 then de ranked to gold 3 and got back again to plat 1, the hardest part on my account was that each time I peak gold 3 78/100 for example, I find myself playing vs plat 3 and 2 and with a team just average meaning not good but I made it today ! Hope anyone else make it too

One tip that has helped me rank up is - no need to force queue or spam queue. Rather than playing 5-6 matches of comp everyday i would suggest to play just 2-3 matches. But in those 3 matches put everything and give your best. No backseating. Full comms and do the best that you can do. Even if you lose all 3 of your matches you aren't going to lose on your elo and rr significantly and maybe next day you'll win all 3.

If I talk about my self i usually play as you said and i was hardstuck gold. TBH i played for 8-9 hours daily, during first 1-2 comps my aim won't be good but after that my aim would reach it's max point of perfection and hand movements too. I did this for a month playing 8-9 hours and I reach from gold to Ascendant in between 1-2 months. I think playing 6 matches winning 3 and losing 3 i will be almost at the same position where i started.

Warm up routine made huge impact on my gmply. My warm-up routine that made my game mechanics really great in just a few days is: 5-10 minutes of the range, 1-2 deathmatch (idc about the score and my kills, the important part is how can I improve my movement, peeking advantages, and precise head aim placement, because if you have good aiming placement = easy kills), 2-3 tdm to apply all of the concepts, and lastly, 1 unrated game before I go into competitive. With these warm-up routines, I built a foundation on checking and making my mistakes less with each game and each round. I can also tap heads easily now since I already know how to counter different enemies who have different playstyles. I can also now see my improvements since I'm no longer crouching, no longer spraying, and have made my tracking of heads before I shoot even greater than before. Last but not least, my mind is not on autopilot anymore since it is now more aware of what can happen in the game. Now I'm always topfragging my games with a HS% of 30-50%. I know there is still a lot to learn, but I'm happy that I can already see improvements in my gameplay. Knowing that I can now face higher elos in my everyday games makes me confident enough to know that I'm good, but I know there is still a lot more to learn.

I play it and I want to rank up too but if you think about it from the bigger perspective, what are video games made for. Fun. Stressing abt rank or wanting to get better at a game which is what I do is not that fun speaking from experience. When you first started playing Val was it with friends or by yourself. What is it now. Personally, I changed to 5 stacking with friends and it just makes the game more fun. Chatting and not really caring whether we win or lose. That’s just me though.

I haven’t played games like csgo or valorant in a long time. The most I’ve done is play like cod over the years SOMETIMES. I have around 35-40 hours and I’m currently gold 2 and climbing. My buddy who came from cs go, had gotten gold 3 as his first rank and duo-queuing with me he is now play 1. Now with that said. I’ve been doing lots of warmups and routines and also playing even when it’s just me. So when we do play together, the consistency of my game sense and aim, shows. Versus his where he might carry the whole game but the next game bottom frag and make plays that don’t float with the team in a game sense way. Playing with different minded/skilled players helps put you in positions and plays where you can learn versus using your duo to crutch on for the same kind of plays all the time.

I don't think the amount of games played is a direct correlation to ranking or skilling up (i.e., more games could equal more experience, which could equal improvement), but if someone plays 100-rank games a Act but plays poorly and makes bad decisions and chooses not to fix the mistake, they are not improving their skill. But if you played 50 or 75 games and focused on the mistakes you made, you would rank up. I condition myself when I play valorant. I play 1-2 rank games a day. If you really care about ranking up, this is the way to go. My first game is always my best. I went from bronze 3 to sliver 2 in 1 week by playing 1 game a day, and some days 2 if I'm feeling good. If you can play 3-5 games without your skill dropping, play more, but after my first game, I average 15-17 kills, while my first game is usually 20-30. Play less, focus on mistakes, and you qill rank up ( my opinion, btw). Thoughts?

Teammates in low Elo do suck. I've had ascendant and diamond friends tell me "It's not just teammates but you too". I agree to an extent. I'm not good by any means (I did just join this summer), but Like I just had a sage who would entry with an Odin with their res and heals every round to the same site no matter where we go. And I'm FULL COMMS so I can try to guide our team to win more but they didn't care. they went 6-25. But now, I have a 5 stack in bronze. I have won 65% of games with them (about 3/1-win rate). we have pretty good comms, and we have been practicing on some maps for crazy strats. I get how there are Smurfs and unfair matchmaking in 5 stacks. I usually get paired up against silvers or smurfs in our 5 stack even tho we are lowest iron 1 and highest bronze 2. I also have a friend who is level 150 and has been bronze stuck for over a year. I'm slowly getting out of bronze even by just playing for 2 months and they wanted out. They always play Reyna yet bottom frag and somehow win because a Jett or raze carry. They even had their friend boost them into bronze 3 but they still do really bad. Not only that, but my friend thinks they are God tier and can easily be diamond. Last 3 games they played using reyna? Less than 10 kills and more than 20 deaths as bot frag.

Thank you! Ascendant is tough because people have decent mechanics. Stack with 2 friends that you can rely on and make plays together. The teamwork will throw most players off and keep improving your aim + mechanics and I'm sure you will be able to rank up, I believe :)

the concept is cool at first but here's the catch. i meander around d2-asc2 range and never get past or under it. i can say that i can play to get better but honestly i just get worse and then a little better and then a lil worse and so on. im in a loop. doesnt matter if i queue into oblivion or not. the fact is the only way to get progressively better is to play against progressively better players but apparently thats not possible. 2 months and then reset. with my time to play thats not enough because ill have to restart from scratch again and the reset cucks everything because smurfs come out the woodworks at the start of the acts. it's actually impossible to progress out of ascendant for me, because every time i'm on the brink of cracking immo, i just get reset to d2 again and then im stuck.
