Let's talk about how you can survive your first night, 100 days or even multiple years in hardcore minecraft 1.18. I will share some tips about the early game, going to the nether, fighting the ender dragon and even fighting the wither. I hope you'll find this helpful!

Tip for Ender Dragon Fight (Please read this because this can save you a lot of resources!): When your in the Fight, always bring a water bucket so you can clutch if you get flung up. For the pillars, do NOT use bows. All you need is your water bucket. You might think "How is a water bucket going to help me with destroying the end crystals?" Well, just try this: When your gonna destroy a pillar, use your water bucket, then swim to the top. Then, you put the water back in and put it back out. Do this until you have reached the end crystal. Once you are there, put a block in front of you and break the end crystal. This will reduce the damage you take from the end crystal. After all that, you might say "I'm bad at clutching with water buckets!" Well worry not! Because once you are done with all of this, it is likely that there is still water down at the bottom of the pillar! So just jump down and you take no damage! Once you have destroyed all of the pillars, run around the middle, where the bedrock is. Then, before the dragon perches, go beneath it. Then you can hit its head, neck, stomach, whatever! Now you just have to repeat the end process, then its a easy win! Also make sure to bring a carved pumpkin to prevent the endermen from killing you. If you attack them, then use your water bucket! Hopefully this helps and you beat Minecraft in your Hardcore world! Good luck hardcorers!

I currently have a 500 day hardcore world after restarting a few months ago. I personally like to speedrun to the ender dragon and then use the end cities to get full diamond armor and tools. After that, I build an enderman farm and use villagers to get max enchants. Once I’m stacked, I worry about building farms and getting totems. Edit: I would also recommend to put your elytra in one of your hot bar slots to easily swap to it when needed.

Tip: make a wool / gunpowder farm / other farms to grind items quickly, as well as raid farm for grinding totems, iron farm for maxing beacon, creeper farm for tnt, wool farm for beds, etc.

As someone who almost exlusicely plays minecraft in hardcore mode,I 100% agree to all your tips.👍 Some things I'd add:Before going to the nether you should get yourself feather falling.There are sometimes random and incredibly deep holes in the nether that will most likely kill you.Also get yourself a shield immediately:It's super cheap and it will especially help you against creepers,as they absorb all the damage.

I made a hardcore world today, i arleady got to iron and the only damage i took was fall damage (i started right next to a 1.13 village and made a sheep farm) so im already pretty confident that this wont end with me putting an iron golem on a lead and accidentaly attacking him

Great video ! 0:23 "then you wanna get iron gear" Of course, going in cave is the fastest way to get iron and the fastest way to die. Boats are risky indeed, too. You also mentionned trying to find mountains, which is great but we don't always have some around. BUT you forgot the safest way to get iron : go to layer 16, and mine in the stone straight (you can go forward by mining only one layer if you don't wanna risky facing mobs, then mining the second layer with care). Can be a bit slow (10-45min to get 26-35 iron), but clearly the safest.

Another thing I recommend is keeping your chestplate/elytra in your hotbar. You can right click on them to auto-equip which can save your life. Just make sure it’s in an easy to equip slot, for me it is usually 1 or 2.

a tip for the ender pearl throwing is that snowballs actually have the same range as ender pearls so if you find a snow biome get some because you can find the right angle to throw the pearl with them

If you do not find gold for piglin trade for fire res pots u could get fire protection on ur chestplate for blazes then u can grindstone it and get prot 4 later

Under water mining with a door for oxygen is super safe and a really fast way of getting a lot of different ores, especially tons of iron and coal. It is also easier if you have shaders on and put a torch in your offhand.

Another tip, dont waste diamonds on armor and tools, get a weapon smith, tool smith and armorer villager, zombify and cure them once (since hardcore is hard mode zombifying will happen 100% of the time) and most trades will be 1 emerald for 1 diamond armor / tools

Not that anyone cares, but the reason why you take a gold helmet into the nether and not boots is because a gold helmet is equivalent to an iron helmet in term of armor bars.

Here's some tips that might save your life : When You are alone in your world and hear footsteps, it is probably a creeper. also when a creeper sneaks up on you, don't attack it, instead, block it the fast as you can. another one : (Java edition only) When in panic or falling you can exit to your world and go back, this gives you 5 seconds of invincibility Bonus ;): Use f5 a lot, like a lot, it could save your life!

I build an 3x3 obsedian box with a 3x1 opening on the bottom of one side. I dig down one block so you can place the sand and skulls and hit it with a sword. The obsedian should block all explosions.

hardcore is ridiculously easy at least for me. Make a bed asap to avoid mobs spawning and search for iron and coal on land in mountain biomes. Start strip mining for diamonds at y = -58. Get full diamond and go nether, get blaze rods, trade with piglins or villagers to get ender pearls, enchant your shit, find the stronghold, jump in and kill the ender dragon pretty easily as long as you don't look at any endermen. im on day 177 and only came close to dying once from fall damage

Regular protection is the most useful out of all the protection types but the situation depends on the others fire protection sucks if you have fire resistance so the only 3 main protection types that could be considered are base protection projectile and blast protection if your skilled enough blast protection wouldn't be needed and projectile protection is nice but also very useless leaving just protection though if you have friends on the hardcore world I definitely recommend you make blast protection armor and you only need 3 peices of it for full bennifits you need to be safe from crystal explosions lmao

tip golden helmet and golden boots have the exact amount of protection (this includes all other armor variants) so craft boots first as, they are cheaper and provide the same amount of protection as a helmet.
