How To Add 16,000 RPM Screen to 2023-2024 BMW S1000RR, BT Moto Tutorial

IF YOU HAVE A 2020-2022 S1000RR all you have to change is cfg_hmi_tacho to “0A”. The rest of the steps are not needed for 20-22.
This video will help you convert your 24-24 BMW S1000RR (K67) RPM gauge from 15,000 RPM to 16,000 RPM (like M1000RR). All you need is the BimmerUtility, this tutorial, and your bike.

I just changed my s1000r to the RR hmi tacho setting. I didn't change any of the red zone temps though. All good, in preparation for adding the RR airbox to my bike...

Why not just add M Decals to your sale too? This way, those with a S1000RR can be even more like an M Series. 🥴 Don't see any advantage if the S1000RR Rev Limiter can't handle 16K limiter.

i did the 16k RPM, now when it reaches 8k RPM the red line keeps flashing warning to shift gear. is that normal?

You said the M1000RR and the S1000RR both have the same rev limiter. Is that true? Doesn't the M have a higher rev limiter?

For 23, they both have the same RPM limit

I dont think so though. Stock 2023 s1k makes 210@13750 whereas m1k makes 212@14500 rpm as pec their spec sheet. Are you saying both also make the same power? I am concerned because I just bought the m1k stage 2 from you.

Haven’t tried it on that one. Just make sure to back it up and save settings before attempting. Let us know if it works. It should as they have the same look.
