Man, I have being doing dragon skin FX on my suits for years. I had no idea anyone else did them.

For the love of God, DON'T WASTE THE MIXING CUPS. You can simply mix both parts of the material in a single cup by weight, and if you mix well, you can always peel the material when it's cured and reuse the same cup and stick. Just make sure to have a flat end in the stick to help you mix everything right.

Hey @elfett do you think that i can mix liquid latex and fabric paint and have a similar result, i would still use the puff paint in the edges

It wouldn’t work the same at all dragon skin is silicone based which is what gives it the rubbery like properties the method your talking about wouldn’t smooth out properly or look as good if your just puff painting webbing I recommend mixing latex with puff paint because it will mix properly but I never recommend painting on your logos just use dragon skin or urethane emblems

Hello El Fett, I was wanting to use dragonskin for a symbiote costume. I can use your tutorial for the symbol but what about the rest the costume? Is it possible to do half a suit then flip it and do the other side and the silicone connect together? Also any idea on applying it to a helmet? I was thinking attempting to thickening it and brushing it on. Thank you for any guidance.

Dragon Skin is too runny to be used without a barrier. The puff paint he used works as that barrier here.
