Same here, when I try to verify my sender email it keeps saying " Domain authentication has failed. Review your DNS configuration and try again" So I try to authenticate my domain with the records they give me by copying and pasting them in the DNS settings. After they went under review it said failed again. It is frustrating and confusing. I wonder if it has to do with being on basic plan or Maybe I'm just not getting something right. If you find out or if anyone can help out it would be very appreciated!

What no one tells you until you've signed up is that you can't add or transfer domains on the basic plan. You have to upgrade to one of the plans most beginners cannot afford.

I have a domain parked at Fourthwall as a tee shir printing site... I plan on closing that account (with fourthwall) . For me to transfer over my domain name to shopify that will be need first correct? I would have to close that Hosting or connection with FourthWall and then have shopify use my domain name? OR do I need simply need to shut down fourthwall and put in particulars of the site I purchased the domain from? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. And thanks for this video. If you already own a custom domain and you want to manage all your domain settings from your Shopify admin, then you can transfer your domain to Shopify. After you transfer your domain to Shopify, you no longer need to use the third-party domain service where you originally bought the domain. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domains

How do I cancel the auto renew. I have two domains for one site cuz I wanted to change the website name but don’t need the other domain

From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domains. Click the domain that you want to configure. Then in the Auto-renew section, clear ‘Auto-renew this domain every year’. After you deactivate automatic renewal, your domain expires at the end of the registration period. Best regards!
