Hey y’all! Thank you for your patience with me. I thought I could rally better than I have but I assure you I’m arting and filming and I can’t wait to show you what I have been doing. This is one of the thing I have been doing off air.
Often I have people reach out to me to say that they aren’t confident with resin and would like me to apply a flood coat for them. I know how intimidating it can be to work with resin so I offer to help artists to work with resin or I can do it for them.
It’s always nerve wracking to work on other artists pieces but after some long conversations and terms of the agreements agreed upon - it’s time to flood coat!
I’m using Stonecoat art coat and you should too! Use code “YALL” at stonecoatcountertops.com for a rad discount!!

We have all lost somebody, near and dear, to our hearts, Erika. Most of us understand the sadness, that seems to swallow us up. Grief is a horrible place to be. However, grief is the price we pay, for knowing love. Take the time you need, we will always be here, waiting, when you are ready, when you feel you can breathe again. Sending you much love and healing energy ♥️🙏💐💐

Erika this piece turned out beautifully as for what your going through I understand l lost my sister to brain cancer and a very good friend to lymphoma weeks apart and right after that the angels took Clara and my heart broke again. I’m an amateur to the art world but it really has helped me a lot the problem is that some people don’t understand and criticize me but I’ve always been creative because I used to be a makeup artist for 40 years. When ever you’re ready we will be right here to watch your fan won’t leave you ❤️

I’m just getting into epoxy and love watching you, Rhonda, and Mitch. I only learned who Clara was by watching her on SCC video showing her Claramarble. A few weeks ago. I noticed she hadn’t done recent videos and went searching and learned of her passing and her fight. I cried. My dad passed away February 2023 of an unknown highly aggressive cancer. He had testing/scans done in September 2022 and there was no Cancer. By February 1st he was stage 4, and passed on the 26th. It still feels like yesterday. I’m just getting back into doing things that I enjoy, because that’s what he would have wanted. So I feel for you and understand your loss and pain. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your story with me. I knew it would be hard but I didn’t know how much it would truly affect me. I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope creating with resin will help you - creating always helps me. Thank you for watching our channels! It truly means the world

Think that’s exactly what u needed, to take a step back & put focus on healing ur self without all the worry of filming/editing daily. I imagine it begins to feel like an angst of meeting the world’s expectations, when all u really want to do is find a moment of solace, to grieve. I’m proud of u 4 listening to ur soul, taking time to step back & remember the point of life, to love, & that includes loving urself 2! U express so much of that in ur artwork & by being kind enough to share ur knowledge. U may not see ur strength at this time Erika, but all of us on this journey with u, see it & will be here when ur ready! I’m gr8ful that u didn’t quit the channel all together. I selfishly admit, I was worried, but also get it. U bring so much happiness & light thru ur channel. U have also brought out something artistic in me that I hadn’t met in over 40+yrs of my life. It saved me at a very difficult time in life. Having an impact like that on someone u have never personally met, is powerful! I know I am only 1 of millions u have affected & gave inspiration to. Thank you for blessing us with ur gift & the light u are Erika.

I can’t thank you enough for your kind words. And no worries - I will never quit the channel. You all bring me such joy and I love helping others create. I must admit that I have felt guilt for not posting regularly but I have been creating and filming for voiceovers. Thank you for being here for me 🥲

Thank you for sharing this, turned out beautiful with the resin. 😊 And don't ever apologise for being sad over the loss of your close friend, everyone understands if you're not quite yourself and happy all the time. It's okay, just give it time. 🤗

Thanks so much for sharing this vid E! 💙💙💙 you reminded me about that dip. Especially since I did that pearl paintng last week, and even though it's on a 2 inch gallery wrapped (Level3) canvas, The resin is defo going to make it dip and if I do not set it up this way, I'll end up with the crappy sides. So yea.. I'm def going to be taping and letting the resin roll over after it sets up. Don't let anyone pressure you into "getting over" your grief. Whatever it takes is what it takes. I am here for you, Love you!! 💜

This is my first time working with epoxy any tips and tricks to help it and help me to not screw up and is there any such thing as an older free epoxy? I am very sensitive to strong smells and I have a ton of allergies. This will be done at my work. I will be doing something really cool with the epoxy and yes, it will be put in the art show at my work, but I wanted to know if there was such a thing as an order free or low order epoxy that wouldn’t kill me and would cure quickly.

I subscribed to Clara’s KZbin channel after meeting her at one of your classes. Then, just this year, I started playing with alcohol inks and had some unexpected results. I immediately thought of Clara, sure that she could answer my questions, then remembered that she had passed. What an incredible loss. 😞

Thank you for sharing this video: your top-coat process, and your grief. While it pains me to see anyone suffering, especially the ones I know and love (like you) I know it’s a process that we must go through with patience in order for us to live on for a happy, fulfilling, and productive life. I know you will be fine in time. With much love and respect: Joe R 🩷
