Cant you just slip the strap in between the mounting screws? Also trex arms sells a strap with a hole that you can rig it to the bottom mount screw of the safari holster.

I was thinking the same thing. It has a hole but no one seems to use it? I line the hole up with the bottom screw but I can’t find anyone that specifies whether that’s not where it’s meant to go or not

The trexarms strap with hole is meant to have the bottom ubl screw go through it.

Typically one size fits all, they can become very very large though.

Yes you can. Execute the same action, sans QLS, so mount the holster in the same fashion to the UBL and add the leg-strap before tightening the bottom screw.

Is it comfortable when you sit?

@@cangurointraprendent everybody is different. If you are concerned about it look into one that swivels and is more comfortable like the Shaw concepts one.

Considering that is a Mid-Ride UBL, a thigh strap is unnecessary. After a little bit of work and/or training that strap is in a place that is very uncomfortable and can cause some serious irritation that none of us what lol Furthermore your holster should never “chicken wing” when drawing. That all comes down to correct weapon fit and retention. Most times it’s good idea to run a thigh strap on the Low-Ride UBL’s just to keep them in place and limit the “flop” when running or at a slow trot.

Try sprinting with and without a leg strap and you will see the difference immediately.
