Great video but I was just wondering How do I add transitions to footage in the overlay tracks? I added some overlay track footage to a project and I'm not sure how to add a blank section to the main video track, so I'm currently not able to use transitions past this point. Alternatively, how do I set the video track so that the clips do not have to be joined together? Thanks in advance!

Sorry, but transitions can be added to the video track only. And all clips in the video track will always be merged so there won't be any unnoticeable "gap" between clips. (The clips you drag to the overlay track will not be joined automatically. Making edits will get easier when you are familiar with the timeline.) 😁

@@videoprocvloggerofficial5220 I mainly started using the overlay track because I wanted glimpses of a black screen - which I wasn’t able to do in the main track. So now that i’ve incorporated that into several parts of my overlay track, if I try and add something to the main track, it adds on from the last clip in the main track, which is before all the overlay clips. Surely there’s a way to insert a blank clip/filler to the main track so that it doesn’t affect overlay clips, but it does allow the use of transitions?

@@MarkzS11 You can simply add a black image between the main track clips to make a glimpses of a black screen. And, yes, transitions are only available in the main video track.

Other trick: Use one Overlay Track with one Audio Track as equivalent to the Video Track main. Now You can put and move clips y generate 'black spaces' as you want

Hi, im trying to get the end of a clip to fade out, and when I use the fade to black transition clip, it automatically fades the next clip out from black, which is not what I want, do you know how to fix this?

Corner Zoom transition: It goes one way - from full frame to small in the lower left corner. How could I start from small in lower right corner to zoom to full frame?

@@videoprocvloggerofficial5220 No. That is not what I'm trying to do. Look at the Corner Zoom transition. You'll see that it is the full frame throughout the transition. It just keeps getting smaller - not cropping the video. I would like to be able to do this in both directions. From small to full; from any direction. I think it would require a whole control panel with at least a start and end keyframe for the Corner Zoom? Thanks.

How to blur a particular section in video

Hello! Currently, the one-click option of blurring a particular section in the video is not available in VideoProc Vlogger. Please try the alternative method: -> 1. import a square, a circle, or a segment to the Overlay Track -> 2. adjust the size, position, or opacity of the segment to cover the part of the video that you want to blur -> 3. search and find the Pixel Art effect and drag it to the Effect Track -> 4. make sure you select the Effect Track, then go to the Inspector area, scroll down and find Scope -> 5. uncheck Canvas, instead, check the segment -> 6. in this way, the Pixel Art effect will be only applied to the square/circle/segment (you can also adjust the pixel size and position) Please feel free to let us know should have any further questions.

Thank you for your question. If we understand it correctly, you want some "cut and transition" techniques other than the transition presets. Please be aware that transitions can only be applied to videos in the Video Track, not the Overlay Track

Please drag a Transition to your video track -> click on the Transition -> go to the Inspector area (located at the right side of the Preview Window) -> set the duration until you are satisfied with the result. :)
