I have had locs for almost 6 years and on a whim, I cut them all off . (Midlife freak out?) After my hair started to grow out, I was starting to regret it. So, I turned to KZbin and found you. I'm so glad I did too! I'm in the process of reinstalling my locs. I too, shall never be without my locs again! Thanks for the great tutorial on how to add them back! 🌸

I am a loctician too and cut off my extensions regularly and change everything up. Give my self a fringe now and again and when bored, lock up fringe and add extensions...it's fun

I agree with you on self care. It’s y favorite thing to do as well. I love working on changing up my locks. It’s actually soothing when I get zoned on working on them. You add your extensions a little bit different than I do mine and I use a crochet hook. But basically the same. I love your channel and your locks btw. Great video

I love that your the brave one to change up your extensions & that you save the cut out extensions. But Ouuuuu sorry, dont think I'm that brave, yet lol. I mean I have added extensions to my existing extensions & that was fun but......cutting them out to add..... um nope, chicken here! Love your videos learned so much, thank you❣✌✌✌🥰

Hey lovey!! I love your videos- you’re so soothing to watch 🤍 I have a question- have you ever experienced being able to pull loose hairs (like a lot 😂) from the dread extension after you install it? Backstory: I have a new set of locs, and when I brush my fingers through it, especially after my two washes (I’ve had them almost a month), a bunch of loose hair comes out! It’s so bizarre and I can’t find info about this anywhere 😔 It seems to stop a bit after I crochet it- but I’m thinking of cutting the extensions out and making new ones. I’ve had a bunch of other extensions on my last set I of dreads- but I’ve never experienced this? Any who, I figured I would just ask-any thoughts or suggestions are super appreciated & valued Much love

Thank you for all the wonderful videos. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix a pregnant extension. I added some for the first time and I unfortunately did this. Should I cut it out and redo it. Also I have partials and one is super thin with an extension that might be to thick. Do you think if I crocheted some straight hair in on that piece it would give enough support so it doesn't cause to much stress or breakage?

Love your videos being the first thing I watch in the morning with my cup of chia tea. I will be getting dreads in a week and adding extensions to my 6inch short hair lol but I was curious if extensions shrink as much as your natural hair?, what’s your experience in that?

I love that we are sipping your favorite beverage as I do!!! Congrats to you, so fun! You will love them! It really depends on the method but with mine, YES! Just like my normal locs!!

My extentions are scheduled to arrive on the 18th, so I’m locking my hair in preparation. I’ve never had locs b4, so I’m not sure what to expect. Right now they feel a bit like Velcro. I’ve read that as the loc matures, it’ll pull those hairs in. Not sure if this is true. Just curious how long it takes for them to feel soft?

I don’t know if you’ve answered this already on another video comment, but I haven’t seen it yet so thought I’d ask! How many locs do you have??

I have very short hair and have been growing the top out with a little side - and V back -- I started with very small locks and I make dreads so I crocheted in my syn hair into the formed lock -- secured the new hair - backcombed it then crochet it -- hmm trying to make sense ha but this punched through the baby dreads -- then formed just as I would have done making a dread but it was attached to my head

Do you have any other suggestions on where I should get human hair extensions, other than Sally's? They seem pretty expensive there. ❤
@LizaLocs4 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry I don’t! For 100% human hair that’s actually a really good price from what I’ve seen. If it gets much cheaper I start to wonder if it’s a blend. I wish I could help more! ❤️
@kristyjones81264 жыл бұрын
Good to know :) Thank you so much. I didn't have anything really to compare it to, since I'm just starting out lol. So I'll just go with the link you provided ❤
@kristyjones81264 жыл бұрын
Last question, sorry 🙈 Roughly how many locs do you get out of one (bundle?)?
@LizaLocs4 жыл бұрын
Kristy Jones roughly 30-40 depending on thickness. If you want them longer (adding two together) you’ll definitely need two packs at least if you’re doing a full head. I like to have different lengths for volume so you could get away with doing half of them longer also! 💕💕💕
