Welcome, It seems that Autodesk is moving towards ribbon interface in all its products and AutoCAD is not an exception here. I understand that veterans AutoCAD users find it hard to work with new ribbon interface but it is more user friendly then the classical one.

The status bar may not have all the tools on your software, you need to bring those tools by clicking the customize button on far right of the status bar.

This still does not change the tray, correct? As I understand 20015 and on can't change its appearance. Further, the file provided has no Classic, so makes no changes. Could this be due to having the Student version? Only took six hours to figure out there is no means or method to going back to 2010 workspace.

Said Benzou Unfortunately AutoCAD 2015 does not allow changing icons to text becuse there will be no space left for many icons if text is used, although in AutoCAD 2014 and previous versions you can right click any of the icon and select USE ICONS to toggle between icon and text.

On My Mac, the AutoCad 2016 interface don't look like the one shown on this video. Is more like one bar menu on each side of the work space. Tool Set on the left and the layer and property inspection on the right. Can't fallow the video instruction because the workspace is not the same for me to follow. I download the file " abcd.CUIX" but I don't know how to install it, for it to work. Can anyone help me, please? Thank You. :-) JR.

AutoCAD for mac has only one workspace and it looks like standard classic workspace of AutoCAD for windows so you dont need to worry about changing the workspace as it cant be done with Mac.
