To be honest the quality of the sound is as good as is your sound system, i haven't installed the mic for handsfree but the sound coming from the call is really good, if your sound system is good then i would recommend it.

Did you already have an AUX port in your car before installing this? Because in the user manual on the website it says that (for the adapter used in this video, the same one I bought) it won't work if the car already has a USB/AUX (MULF) interface installed.

I do have the aux port in the armrest storage area, and used to use it before installing the adapter.

@@BM-V I connected mine and put the key in the ignition. Radio and everything worked fine, but the device just wasn't showing up in my phone's bluetooth, like it wasn't even getting power to turn on. I wrote to support on the website so I'll hopefully get some clarification.

You can try and check again the harness connection and if the clip of the harnes has clipped and is all the way in.

Hi, on mu e90 i have ccc with voice control so I already have a microphone If I buy the version without microphone will the car use the integrated microphone for the calls?

I don't think that the car will use the microphone lready installed in the vehicle, because the voice input is going through the Bluetooth adapter.

It will work but you people won't hear you when you answer the incoming calls when the phone is connect via Bluetooth, this will be the only issue, you can selct the speaker mode to take your calls.

Okay got it, any tips on how to place the mic and where is the easiest place to locate it?

I think that the best place to put the mike will be on the top of the a pilar just neer the sunvisor, you can tuck the cable under the dour seal and route under the dashboard, then fish it horizontally through the dashbord to the back of the radio and connect it to the adapter.

@BM-V i got e90 2009/2010 m sport would it gonna work i want to be able to change music by controls. Is the radio need to be diffrent or something? I got other brand adapter like this and controls dodany work you think that bean controls will work ?

I checked on the website for the compatibility and these are the radios supported by the Bluemusic bluetooth adapter : Business CD, Professional, Navigation Business (M-ASK1 / M-ASK2), Navigation Professional (CCC / CIC) if you got one of the radios the steering wheel controls will work as demonstrated on the video, please note that I am talking about the bluemusic adapter and not any generic one. I can only speak about the one I used on the video.

Can I use this product for my 2012 F20, which doesn’t have any Bluetooth.

I looked up the compatibility and unfortunately it's only compatible with the E series BMW, you can try the one with only the Aux and usb connection if you have aux on you f20 but the steering wheel controls will not work

Hi I’ve been using the same adapter but a different brand and have lost the ability to hear any bass. Have you had the same issue ?

not realy, but try the bass setting on the radio itself, or use the aux cable and try and see if the bass comes back, if so youève isolated the problem to the adapter, if not it might be an issue with the sound system, the most important thing is to isolate the source of the problem, i hope this comment helped.

The kit does not connect to the aux port in the center console but to the input in the radio from my understanding, if your radio is not faulty it should work in theory, but i will advise you to ask bluemusic themselves just to be 💯 sure.

Quick question. I got it Like 1-2 Montags ago für my e91. It had bluetooth already but just for phone calls. Now i installed the bluemusic thing and when i try to Connect My phone there is always a screen That says please wait. Is it an error With the Blue music thing oder just something with my e91 again?

to be honest i'm not familiar with this issue because my car didn't come with the bluetooth from factory. Start first with trying to pair another phone and see if it works, if you still have the same problem this will confirm that the problem is with the car or the bluemusic adapter, if the problem is still there try and disconnect the bluetooth module of the car and see if it works , if notgo ahead and disconnect the blue music adapter and see if you regain your factory bluetooth for calls only. i hope this answer helps you diagnose the issue.

Hi there, bought it and everything works the same.... bluetooth conects to android and also to ios but neither one is able to play sound through aux.... what am i doing wrong?

Try to disconnect everything and connect it back, check if the optical cable behind the radio is connected. You can also try to use the aux cable to be sure that the problem is not in the radio unit itself, use an aux cable and try and play some audio and see if it works , this will guide you in the right direction.

@@BM-V done that but still no sound. Maybe a faulty cable, idk. Do you know if buy a OEM radio to substitute my business cd if the parking assist sound will still work?

I did a quick search amd it seems that people do have problems when they switch headunits especially when upgrading, and you also might need some coding to get the new unit to work, i would suggest to find a known good unit that is the same as yours, and try it (find one that you can return) and use it to a have a final diagnostic of the problem. Check beemper post and e90 forum for more information.

Can you answer calls using the adapter ?

You can but you should have the microphone connected to the adapter for you to answer using the handsfree mode, if you've chosen to not connect the microphone then, you will need to manually select the speaker mode on your phone once you aswer the call thru the car.
