How To Add Follow Button to Facebook Page

You can add the follow button to your Facebook page by going into the settings feature and choosing edit action button. Then you can choose which action you want to have posted as a button on your Facebook page. This is a super easy setting to change and you can now obtain followers on Facebook.
There has been a new update to the Facebook page settings feature following this follower button. You now cannot add a follow button to your Facebook page but you can add it to your Facebook personal profile.
To add a follow button to your personal Facebook profile, you need to turn on professional mode. This is a new mode that Facebook has added to Facebook For this feature. You can no longer add a follow back into Facebook pages but instead people are just going to use the Like feature. When somebody likes your Facebook page it is essentially the same thing as them following the page.

Huge help but when I’m on my business page it separates likes vs followers and then as I’m trying to build my “followers” (because it’s two different numbers) it’s confusing for people. And when I want to try to move forward with growing my business on FB it says I need followers. Not likes. I’m so confused still. Lol

Thank you for your explaination. Spend a night trying to do this, with zero success of course as the follow button doesn't exist any more. Not the firt time that FB changes things and let people work it out by themselves. Why keep it simple when one (Mark°) can make it more complicated. I can't call this progress ;) but it generates traffic for sure, with people spending their time trying to work it out

A thousand thank-yous! I've been wracking my brains trying to find out how to do this for my newly created business page. All that shows is a "like" button, but no "follow". Curiously, it still also offers visitors the option to "follow" but they have to click on the three dots to see it. So frustrating! But thanks to you, now I know it's simply not an option any longer. I just started a Facebook business page. I’ve had my personal page for ever since Facebook started. I posted a few reels for my business on my private page and a few days later I got a notification that I should turn on professional mode which I did however that’s not what I wanted to do for my private page so basically I made the mistake And switched over my personal account. So after watching this video, I went to my private page. I turned off the professional option and thought it would refresh so I could turn it on on my professional page. Let me back up a second turning on professional mode, wasn’t available on my business page, I assumed that because I had turned it on on my private page. I wasn’t able to do it on my business page. Now I refreshed my business page and I still don’t have the option to put it in professional mode. I’m about to pull my hair out lol please help! I hope this makes sense because I’m about to throw my laptop right out the window lol I have been working on this for hours.

Hi me again lol so after I posted my reels on my private page, I was up to 200 views in about a week on each reel. They can like your page, however, it doesn't necessarily mean they are following you. A like is basically a show of respect. A follow means they are actually receiving your posts in their feed. I can "like" your page and unfollow it. Seems like a screwed up system, but you certainly want the followers over the likes. 👍
