This module was built & this video filmed for a forum, hence the lack of introduction.
It was built for a genset (Onan Emerald 1/I BGE 4.0k) but will work with any points generator or vehicle that has points, without having to do significant modifications, to get the effects of high-energy ignition, and you can change back to points easily.

It's all working. Here are some things I ran into that are not covered in the video:
Disconnect your condenser when connecting this supplemental kit.
Early on, when I went to start it up, the generator's 5 amp control fuse blew. It was the circuit shorting out w the block. I removed the module and was able to turn the generator over, and later on found the short (melted jacket). Further the ignition just died one day while running at temp: the pickup wire (white) jacket had melted, shorted with the cap, grounding it out. Make sure you use high-temp rated wires, not the wire indicated in the video. Particularly with the points pick-up wire.
The module is mounted to the same outside flange that holds up the generator hanging straps.
Wires:
Yellow/Red is Coil -/+,
White is pickup from points,
Green is ground.
Use 14-16 gauge connectors - ring, fork. Do not (only) crimp. SOLDER the connections to prevent corrosion.
Dwell/Timing adjustment: Important update: I had to back out the screw 1/2 turn that sets dwell {advance dwell} (under the green metal cover for the points), to get the timing corrected for the delay introduced by the circuit / stop the afterfire. On the genset, there's no way to adjust timing the way you might on a vehicle or a motor with a distributor. So by adjusting dwell, it effectively had the points open slightly sooner, to compensate.
