Something I have noticed is people don't take a risk and try new equipment that is faster. All I see is people focusing on control but they have no idea if they actually have the skill to adapt that control to a faster setup. I have a fast setup and frankly despite this with modern rubbers and blades you can still keep control. I constantly swap blades with people and they have such a slow setup and they use mine and surprise themselves that they can actually use it without issues. Challenge yourself with a faster setup, you might surprise yourself.

Yeah you are right, but it is important to switch after you’ve developed good technique. If you start with a fast blade, you won’t need to use your body to generate power, and you will only use your arm which is bad technique. So switching is great like you said, but after you’ve developed your technique

Another tip in my opinion is to really make use of your wrist and index finger at the instant of contact. Really try to accelerate them as you're contacting the ball. It'll give your shot way more arc which means you can hit harder without it going off the table.
