question: Can other player on the server also use or play with this mod, or do they also need to download it? (i have already installed mods on the aternos server, so can other player use them?) another question: i just realized that other players must also have the same exact version u r playing on, but u created a version from TLmods which other might not have, so can i directly download them from browser and put them in minecraft file, and the mods can still be active in the server?

im gonna create a video right now for you incase you dont understand the instruction. for your first question yes they need the mods separately on their pc. for your second question yes its the same version of the game. u don't actually create a new version on TLmods as those versions already exist. let me give you and example to make explaining easier. lets say the game version is 1.20 forge, the mod version is 1.20.2f then they must have the same exact mod version as the one you put on aternos. other wise when they join your server a message is gonna pop up saying "error you need this version 1.19.3h of what ever the mod version you put on aternos is. and there is another way which is downloading the mod version from curse forge which aternos has a link on every mod you install so you can get it from their and press the keys windows R and then type %appdata% now search for minecart and find the mods folder and put it there, if it dosant exist then create a folder called mods. then just join the game.

you could try updating tlaucnher and see if latest version appears if it dosant then you just have to wait till 1.20.4 comes to tlancher, or you could use a different minecraft launcher that has 1.20.4

Yh you can use shaders, it doesn't even have to be on the server any one can use what ever shader they want

Go to curseforge or where ever you can get your mods download it and put it into your Minecraft mods folder and it should work. And don’t forget they have to be the exact same version

For shaders you need OptiFine and for mods you need to have forge now just make sure they are the same versions and no error should occur

Check if they have the exact same mods you added and make sure it’s all the same version, another thing you can check is see if your server allows cracked players to join, cus if your friends cracked they won’t be able to join

I had the same problem, you just gotta download the mods in to your Minecraft mods folder and then load tlauncher, if that didn't help then I can make a video tmoz for u

The reason is because you didn't go to software (which is on the server page) and you didn't select forge or fabric and once you choose one of these names you have to pick the version of the game you want like 1.20 forge. Then it should show u mods after. If you need any more help just ask

I don't think that is possible because it is most probably not published to the public or that version is not forge or what Ur using. So from what I see if you want custom mods that you and your friends make you might need a different server hoster
