Nice, clean mod there, Terry! A good example of adding an improvement without affecting the default operation. Years back I had to explain to someone that it was better to wire up relays so the coil was de-energized under normal conditions so it would "fail safe"; for some reason the guy felt it was normal to run them all the time, luckily he got my point once I pointed out the alternatives. I HAVE A Hammarlund HQ 100A I will be doing a video on shortly. It only gets one broadcast band station so going to have to work on it. Good to know about your board addition. My receiver is bone stock with no mods on it.

I own a hq170A in the back of it has a socket for muting pin 3 4 I would like to use my Johnson's matchbox with build in relay in side it you think that I might work if I wore it to that relay inside the tuner.w8dmx Kevin
