How to add or place an image to trace in CATIA?

hello, i tied to do this in catia but i have an error wheni import a jpg logo file. i have the error : wrong viwe mode.change it to material mode...im searching to change this to material mode but i cant find where to change.. Have you an idea where to search? thn al lot !!!

GO to View > Render style > Shading with matterial

yeah.. you must change the material condition... the options will be like shaded, wireframe, etc.. click on with material..!!

After you add a reference image you adjust the values on the green box each time. What is the significance of doing that? Also, should I resize my reference images in photoshop to match the vehicle's actual dimension before adding them into CATIA? I want the model the vehicle as accurately as possible. Its actually setting up all 3 views into a common dimmension. You can either draft it.. or youll get exact images from pintrest, etc..,

Yes it is.. freestyle is like making a model out of clay... That you can make models on irregular shapes.

When I try to introduce a blueprint it says: ,,Invalid file. Would you like to introduce manually a file?" I searched almost everywhere and no solution found. Did you encounter this error or do you know how to solve it?

It will work.. Just follow the video.. The file must be a image file i.e.. jpeg

@@JasperAaronJ v5r20 and I tried with jpg,tif,bmp. If I do the exact same thing on other PC it works with the same version of catia and with the exact files and extensions. It made me think it's a problem with my pc or windows,but I have no clue what could be.Thanks for the answers!

If you are trying to create a tutorial for people to follow why would you whip your mouse around so fast and click on tools so quick that it is impossible to follow with out rewinding your video constantly or playing on half speed so the music actually sounds even worse? I take that back even rewinding and playing 25% speed I can't tell what initial workbench you went into. You ripped up and down the list multiple times and it is impossible to tell what you actually chose.
