Very good Vid i'll just got mine Rg405v love it so much i worked out that i put the roms in a roms folder using the pc then put back the sd card and tell it where the roms are and it works fine for me

@@poshpaul55 I'm glad to hear that level of success with the gamecube. I played Windwaker and it became unplayable about 20 minutes in. Didn't even continue twilight princess after all the studdering audio in the intro 😓 I've had a 100% success rate with n64 so far 🤞

So I think I’ve come to the realization the newly desired Roms have to be on the SD with all the og loaded roms for that optimal graphics option to be available.. I’m gonna have to make some room on this card

Thanks! If the "i" menu doesn't populate, just close and restart AetherSX2 entirely and check again. It should pop up

So what is the unzipping app you said you used? That was the only thing I didn’t get. When you click on Gradius in files how did it unzip?

The app that I used to unzip the files in linked in the video description. Once you have the app installed, it will automatically use the appropriate app to unzip when you click on the associated compressed file. I hope this helps ✌️🎮

how are you getting the games on the device? Ifi download rar files and unziip on my PC then copy them to a microSD card and insert will that work?

This happens sometimes and is very common. If you completely close out your AetherSX2 emulator and restart it fresh, then load the rom again and check the "i" menu. This time it should populate 😃

So you dont have to format your SD card to FAT32 or exFAT right? I got mine with a 256gb sd card with +20 000 games and I dont want to lose all my games data and saves just to download Final Fantasy X. I've seen many tutorials on youtube and so many of them say that we must format to fat32 but i just DONT want to. So my question is can i just download ps2 games on the console WITHOUT formating my SD card?

Oh yeah, no format. I have been adding to mine since day 1. I did buy a bigger SD card and flash everything to the new card at one point. That's partially because I wanted more storage but also because I hear the cheap cards fail often. But no - don't format. Download, unzip and enjoy

It struggles a little bit with Hit & Run but plays pretty decent. It can handle about 25% of the PS2 games I throw at it really well but the other 75% not as much. I'd recommend the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. Plays them all at 2-3x resolution. Looks like they have been remastered

I got it working. Go to System settings in AetherSX2 and set EE Cycle Rate to -50% (-3), EE Cycle Skip to Maximum Underclock (3). Then go to your graphics settings in AetherSX2 and set the GPU Renderer to Vulkan and Upscale Multiplier to 0.5 Native

I was playing ffx and it ran great. It's all about adjusting the underclocking and maximum underclock, then moving native resolution down

If it is blank when you click the "i" just fully close the AetherSX2 app and then reopen it with a freshly started rom and try again - it should be there 🙂 let me know if this doesn't work. ✌️🎮

Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and touch the square in the bottom right. This should zoom out on all of your open apps. Then just swipe AetherSX2 up and off the screen. That should fully close it.
