On the emulator, if you have 2 monitors and full screen opens on the wrong one then you can hold shift and the windows key and use your arrow-keys to change monitor

SUPER late to the party, but if you create a shortcut of the game you want to add and copy the path to it it will open the game without opening the RPCS3 application as well.

This method doesn't seem to work if the .bin extension is linked to HxD Hex Editor. When I changed the default app to RPCS3, the game loaded through its .bin file.

Game will boot on custom or global config? PS: When i open a game like this on Steam/RPCS3, my controller is disconected from RPCS3! I using a dualsense, and this always worked for PCSX2 (and sorry for the bad english).

Make sure Steam Input is disabled before booting RPCS3 through Steam and be sure to bind the DualSense in RPCS3 itself. As for which config it uses, I'm not surem

This is cause you had PlayStation controller configuration enabled in Steam Big Picture mode. If you disable it, it'll run in DirectInput mode. From there, just go to RPCS3 and change your input to DS4 and it'll work natively without having to use Xinput.

Not necessarily. You can just add the RPCS3 exe to your Steam, but that means when you click play you have to manually chose the game. When you add the EBOOT.bin file, it will open the game alongside RPCS3. I recommend doing it regardless, but you don't have to I guess.

@@JustMeIon Hi thank you. Issue I have is other emulators switch etc let me have the games natively and generate in steam room so battery is better on the deck. When playing through RPCS3 though have to go through the emulator it self so drains battery more get like 1.5 hours battery life. But games like bayonetta 2 give me like 4 hours battery life . If makes sense mate?

@@reignofswords6575 That's because RPCS3 is extremely CPU intensive compared to something like Yuzu or Ryujinx. It's not surprising that RPCS3 drains the Steam Deck's battery so easily.

The idea is for people who maybe use Steam Link can use this to play PS3 games from their phone, tablet, or other computer. There's also the fact that you have your games all in one place rather than having them in different clients. Plus it just looks so damn cool to show it off to people.

Did everything as mentioned and everything works fine but I can't use shit tab to open up the steam menu for some reason only way for it to pop up is to alt tab to rpcs3 while the game is open and only then it lets me use shift tab but it uses it in the game and I need to alt tab back in game and can't even control it there .

Depends on the emulator. For Citra, Ryujinx, Yuzu, melonDS, Xenia, and RPCS3 it'll work. For others like Dolphin or Cemu there are different methods.
