I love using adjustment layers and this is a perfect example of how and when to use them. Love your transistion pack from the MasterClass. It definitely gives you a bunch of useful effects that are found nowhere else. Oh yes, let's not forget the gem of knowledge I picked up today. Hitting the arrow key moves the cursor arrow exactly 1 frame. Thanks for that gem. Very useful to know and use.

Is there a flicker between 2 shots effect? or a reverse 5 seconds of the next clip effect? I can't tell because I don't have the pack.

I know an amazing trick to add flicker. Add a white blank image as overlay - use blending mode “overlay” - reduce opacity to 25% - add blink animation to it with 0.1/0.2 seconds of interval.
