@@OutlastOverland PACING is always key and a good tip, you match the pacing with the music and BOOM, its a recipe for audience retention and i audience immersion. Obviously there are times when you would’ve CUT to the music or the score but most of the time it is effective! Thanks s for watching!

First video to show the Edit page properly in-depth! Great tutorial! I decided to give the IPad Davinci a try with my 2018 and 2019 iPads Pro, and if I feel like it would be a good way to edit on the go to go and get an M1 or M2 iPad, and by now it really rocks after unlocking the Edit page, especially! I, only having issues when I add some high resolution JPEGs, or too much text on my timeline, and it crashes from time to time!

Finally, the first KZbin tutorial showing a proper production in production! And what lovely music too. Nice one! That said, you're using the unreleased hidden Edit page, ha ha. ;) Either way, how does one drag the end of a clip out to extend it, without overwriting any clip that is on the right? IE, have the clip you are extending push the clips to the right further along the timeline. Thanks in advance!

Before I purchase an Ipad, couple questions. (1) I have the free version on pc. If I download the Ipad app, is there a charge and does that fee include access to BlackMagic Cloud, so I can work between Ipad and PC? (2) Do you have to save a rendered program to access from the other device, or does the Cloud allow you to work on either device with the current live editing?
@Drewxcifer Жыл бұрын
Yes there is a free version on the iPad that you can get by with with until you want to do more effects work then you need the paid iPad version which is $95. I use the free version on my iPad and get by fine, although I have the paid version on my Mac, so if I need to do effects I just use the that.you can use the cloud for editing a project on either device.

As always bro, great video. Pity my Ipad sucks just a little too much to hit the required spec haha. That render time was sick. M1 chipsets are amazing for video. I finally got the GH6 out the box and went for a walk in the local woods so may upload it eventually, audio sucked a little though as I used in cam rather than my wireless go,schoolboy error. Was awesome to just get out for once as its been months and yay finally used the camera. I will have a try using Davinci to edit this one on the PC won't be as pro as yours but I've picked up some tips so thanks and also happy new year to you and the family from us.

Happy new year to your family as well! The gh6 is such a solid camera I think you’ll have a blast with it! I’d love to review one soon. I was editing on an old laptop with a 960gtx and it ran Davinci fine. Blackmagic is so MUCH better at optimizing their software than Adobe that editing on an older machine shouldn’t be too much of an issue
