How to Add Users and Databases to Bolt.new Apps

In this long awaited video I show you how to add users and databases to your Bolt.new apps to make them fully functional. This way your app no longer looks good as an MVP, but can be launched with a fully backend system.
This allows users to sign in to an account and save things to their user profile. All by using Firebase and Firestore. You can also do this by using Supabase with Bolt.new as well.

I hate when LLM do that. At fisrt you had a Google logo at the login page and trough the prompts you did it change it for another icon and drop the Google logo.

@BrockMesarich I think perhaps this is one of the most important videos for the entire world and on the entire Internet right now - and it has < 5,000 views as I'm writing this. This is so "back then". That being said: Not before nor after watching this video have I been able to make it work: From a Netifly deployment the google popup window just disappears after appearing showing a blue progress bar for a split second. From a build inside Bolt I get this error: "Error signing in with Google:" {code: "auth/popup-blocked", customData: Object, name: "FirebaseError"} But when asking bolt to fix it, it just starts a loop of non-working fixes, ending up with for example the popup staying but with a little text saying: "The requested action is invalid."

Ok, for the next person in same situation, I also saw someone else displaying the same pattern: It now works for both him and me - and basically we didn't do anything new, time, repeating the same thing (his was left for days then it worked) - I added / removed / added Google as sign in.. and now it works!

So is it not worth to start a software development company? With few dollars anyone can get the tools and start making apps. So starting a software development company today will not give any financial success. Right?

If you learn the skills on how to use these platforms, it will be extremely valuable. However your ability to market will be your biggest hurdle. I see people making $10k + on twitter by showcasing their projects and getting clients
