Hi PoggersFloppa! No, you can't keyframe the opacity mode of a clip, but even if you could, it would be exactly the same, it wouldn't be easier or faster to do with keyframes, I don't see any advantage to it.

Thanks for the tut here. I have a question. I love to use crop-bars and when applying the crop-bars and include this vid inside text the crop-bars turn from black to white during the transition of the letters. I assume this is due to the color of the text is white. Do you know a way to avoid this?

What if you have an already color corrected video which you cut as part of this process and changing the composite mode to darken changes the overall color of that video clip, so when it finally transitions to the 2nd 1/2 of that video the coloring is different...?

when using a pretty dark video, the composite "darken" method will make the letters of my text become hard to see/read. Is there any way to brighten the text up a bit ? I tried, but didn't come up with anything that works. The text is already white, so what more can be done ?
