How to adjust clutch on NINJA 650 ( 2012 - 2016 )

If anyone has a Versys 650, skip the first 6 minutes because you don't have a fairing to take off. 😀 I found my adjuster was fully loosened, so needed to adjust at the lever end. All good for now, but after 20,000 miles of city riding,, I need a new cable. If anyone tests without sitting on the bike like in the video, pull front brake before putting in gear, in case you've adjusted the wrong way. 😀 Useful video, thanks for sharing.

Thanks. I'd like to adjust my lever to 4-5 (closer), using two fingers, instead of 1-3 (further). The adjustment is probably set up for 4 fingers. I just wish I saw this before putting my fairing back on! Not sure if "5" allows enough travel with two fingers in the way.

They are from Wholesale Decals, They don't seem to have them listed for sale any more. But I just sent them an email to see what they have and I'll let you know.

Ok my aduster is literally bottomes out and the adjuster up top is also bottomed out. My biting point is quite far out. Does this mean the clutch is new..... or am I going to be paying for a clutch very soon

So if your friction zone is at the end of the lever does that mean your clutch doesn't engane unless fuly squeazed?

You set clutch free play according to owners manual. You dont set it so that it's easier for you to pull it.
