I've tried doing this twice in the past and after watching your video finally got it right. Thanks

Thanks for the helpful video. There's a lurking gotcha' doing this you don't mention, and I guess if you do it all "just right", it won't jump out and get'cha, but it did for me just now on my '22 Pro FX EPS LE . The problem that I ran into is that the inside of that U-shaped piece fits on a shouldered casting, and if you loosen the whole thing too much, the springs down there will try to pull it off its seating position. Then, since the pieces aren't assembled correctly, if you try to do the adjustment, it won't succeed. Once I got that corrected, the adjustment went the way it should. Just thought I'd toss that into the mix for the benefit of future DIYers.

Thanks John….what causes heavy peddle pressure to stop a mule pro with less than 2 hours…breaks will not lock up on dirt…
@HesterEdition2 ай бұрын
@offgridmangogrower have to burn the brakes in. Drive down a road about 30-40mph, apply and hold the brake with left foot, gas to maintain on right foot, let go after 4-5 seconds. Let cool for about 10 seconds of driving, then repeat about 2-3 more times. Then they will have much more bite.

So I guess if the brake is sticking after you do this the brake bolt will be red hot and if it's cool to the touch after a drive the parking brake isn't sticking ?
@HesterEdition Жыл бұрын
That would be a good indication yes. You can freely roll the unit, if it is dragging a good chance one or both the parking brakes are too tight.

I wish kawasaki made a silencer to put over there muffler. We have 6 mule pros and they are kind of loud, not to bad, there is 1 guy that has a silencer on a kawasaki 4010 trans and WOW you talk about quiet, you can talk inside the cab at a normal tone and when you walk away from the buggy about 25 yards it sounds like a quiet car. Nobody hears him hardly driving around. But the Mule pros we can hear for hundreds of yards. They have a low rumble sound

Go to and join the "Kawasaki Mule Pro (Team Mule Pro) Facebook page, search "muffler" at the top, you will see a simple longer curved pipe makes a world of difference!

@@HesterEdition Where can those of us who won't/don't do "fecesbook" find that product? I'm in the market for such a product for my '22 Pro FX EPS LE.

How do you know if it's too tight after the adjustment?
@HesterEdition4 ай бұрын
It will drag, not want to roll freely by hand.

How about shifter adjustment on ufotce 600? I have 18 hours on mine and shifting in gear is sometimes iffy.

Maybe in the future if I can catch one being done in the service.

Lol I saw you did mention it at the end
@HesterEdition2 жыл бұрын
@@joeykunz Yup, it's fangled alright, and it does not really sound any quieter, mules are already really quiet.
