For the manual WB (sliders) I found that if I move Vibrance slider all the way to the right I can adjust WB more accurately. It’s easier to see temperature on white/grey objects as well as tiny. Anthony, try this tip and let me know what you think about that. BTW Do use only use desktop Mac for your photo editing or do you have Macbook as well? Does your Macbook has Touch Bar? What’s your experience with Touch Bar and Adobe products?

As my top rated go-to guy I appreciate that you will sometimes slow down the technical train and refresh our basic clue bags. So many want to impress us with their technical know-how but your videos are always so practical. Thanks for your dedication. You make me a better photographer.

G’day Anthony. I’ve been doing this white balance edit since I saw a video about three years ago from yourself,, I’ve never forgotten it and it’s exactly the first tool I always use or check... see, your videos help us without you even knowing it. Thanks Anthony for the past 3 years. Stay safe Mate.

Nice quick and simple. The big point is do WB first. I went back and corrected white balance on a series of sea birds that I had already edited. Wow, what a change and I thought that the photos were good before, I was shocked at how much punch they got from editing WB. Thanks

thank you for this great tutorial. Now I understand so much more about priorities in work flow. Makes so much sense to do the AB before adjusting the color!

Excellent video. I did not know a bottom toolbarr was available for white balance like it is for many other adjustments. Also, thanks to Rocky. He did a great job!

Hi Anthony - great video - but how do you white balance within a mask (object, brush or whatever the mask is) - now that there are no white balance selecter tool ?

Hope to see a video wherein Lightroom changes your camera white balance. For example I shoot raw with 5500 Kelvin. When I imported the picture the white balance was different. Why is that?

Good information Anthony. I wonder if it's possible in Lightroom to accurately set the white balance on all the photos in the film strip. Sort of like when you select several photos and then sync the settings to them all.

Thank you for this one. I appreciate that only a percentage of your huge following shoot Nikon but I would love to see you do a complete run through of NX Studio. I use this as my RAW processor before exporting a TIFF for further work in say PS or some other app. I think only Nikon can offer a totally correct interpretation of their NEF files.

I have been practicing in NX Studio and hope to get proficient enough in it to be able to do a video or two soon. Thank you for asking!

I shot a grey card in studio session for some reason the in camera custom white balance didn't work, I needed a quick instruction on using a reference image with the card to apply to many photos, you didn't cover that.

Just your own judgement. Most often you'll know when the colors are off.

Yes, I probably should have done that. I guess I was so intent on showing the "3-ways", I didn't think to mention that is a good way to get started. Thanks for mentioning it!
