I have jack F4 sewing machine... there is a problem of continuous stitching even when I stop pedal... automatically stitching even when I take off my foot... I have to press the pedal reverse to stop stitching.... please give me a solution for this problem...

Make sure your foot pedal is free and not sticking, you can also adjust the spring pressure on the foot control unit which is attached under the table. With the machine turned off, your foot pedal should easily return to its rest position when not depressed, make sure all linkages are free and smooth.

Hi. I’ve just got a Jack A2b. I’m finding that I stop, cut the thread and even just VERY GENYLY putting my foot down the machine starts sewing again. What if any can I adjust do it isn’t quite so sensitive please? BTW It isn’t a speed issue as that is fine

Hi! You will find on your motor control box that there is a return spring, there are multiple positions for the return spring on the arm that it connects to. You will find the if you move the spring further out on the control arm that it will be a bit stiffer on the foot control so this may help.

Thanks for posting this video. Just wondering - if the bar underneath is already hitting the metal at the end of travel, does this suggest the foot height can't go any higher?

It is possible, be mindful that when you set the presser height, you want to ensure the needle bar cannot strike the foot at when thr needle bar is at its lowest position.

Is there a knee lift that works for the A4 model?

You would need to go back to your dealer and get him to check as some machines have provisioning for the knee lift and others don't.
