Hi, dear prof I don't really get clear about your idea when talking about "so we are not over/under applied because we got 6000+9000==7000+8000." Over/under applied are referring to actual and applied overhead, and we are just talking about budgeted and applied here...

hi i have this task and i have no idea how to solve it can any one help me out . The task of dual-rate three-color limiter. Given: the first Bucket capacity is 1600 token; capacity of the second Bucket is 2000 token; at start moment both buckets are full; mean packet rate in the network is 4000 bps (first bucket); maximum packet rate in the network 6000 bps (second bucket); at time t1 = 0 packet of 900 bytes is coming; at time t2 = 500 ms packet of 1000 bytes is coming; at time t3 = 800 ms packet of 500 bytes is coming. To define options for packet servicing (transmit to the network, transmit to the network with the marking, the packet is drop).
