Keep the hard work bro you're almost there first on KZbin, when i'm southpaw i can easily protect the chin with my shoulder but in orthodox stance it's far from being able to maintain any video for this that may help me

Nice video, good explanation, I'll try this next time in sparring. I've been popped in the liver before and you're spot on, truly debilitating.

In one sparring session I got dropped three or four times by a liver shot. I had to give up eventually. Those were sparring slaps. Not power punches in a fight. Ever since I've been going to the body more, working on the right placement

Generally, it's almost correct the way you show this technique. However, there's more to this technique than it meets the eye. 1. As the body rotates (as from a straight right hand, right block, etc.), the left hand is getting in position to strike. Your left hand returns to the head first, and then you lower it for the strike. That causes you to lose a fraction of a second, which will make a huge difference in a fight. 2. At the same time, you must buckle your knees to load up and generate a lot more power and align your left hand with your femur. 3. As you strike, you must: a. Thrust your hips forward in an almost rude-like motion b. Push hard into your feet as if you're taking off (jumping). c. This technique is best isolated and practised on a wall pad before you make it part of a combination and use it on a bag or shadow boxing.

Excellent illustration on this punch. Most people always teach dipping way down.

Nice. It's how Chavez landed his left to the body every time.

Very clear, I'll be thinking about that string keeping me upright while throwing it and practicing it a lot with the lead jab then rotate and lead hand into the liver.

Brilliant detailed instruction. Along with Tom Yankello, this is the best boxing instruction I've seen on KZbin.

Woow I love this channel. A video of the pendulum step would be great, how to do it, defense, throw combination etc

Hi mate, excellent video as always. Would you consider doing a longer video for weightlifting/strength training to supplement boxing sessions? Appreciate all your content!

Just one request - please show your footwork in the video - kind of a mix of zoom in and zoom out - both help in visualizing technicality … thank you

Any plans to do some things for those of us who are wired wrong (Southpaw)?

Ce coup de poings est redoutable, mais j'ai du mal à générer suffisamment de puissance, en plus je suis droitier cette technique privilégie les gauchers
