It’s an example she just saying and giving an example of how you should analyze a poem

I got that for a school interview, it was written in a normal english but had some weird modern slang it was weird
@millimilli89 ай бұрын
it's like the poem was written by a poet who thinks they are cool for using slang and shortcuts for words just to make you overthink what could be the possible meanings beyond the lines. it's weird.
@mshrm.6 ай бұрын
@@millimilli8i thought it was because the poet is dislexic 😭

A trick I like to use is to read the question before hand so I don't attempt a "cold reading". Just so I know what I'm looking out for... Ie. is the question asking me for more conceptual analysis on specific human experiences of is asking me more about features and form? I find that way I don't waste time and can spend more time writing and reading. Thanks!

I don't understand you about the word volta
@jeddle Жыл бұрын
A 'volta' (or 'turn') is typically a word or phrase that signifies a shift in the tone of a poem. An example would be the word "But" or "Yet" which takes the poem from a positive perspective to a negative perspective.
