This is the clearest explanation of CSP's features I've found so far! It really helps that you showed everything with simple examples, like a number on every cell to easily show which ones you're talking about, instead of just starting off with a sped up video of you animating something complicated while rambling over it. Thank you!

I've been struggling to find a actually good and simple tutorial for MONTHS now (okay maybe not months but for a looong time..) I searched youtube, reddit, pretty much every site looking for one since I've been wanting to get into animation for my upcoming channel. I watched every single tutorial there was, but most of them were just sooo boring and confusing.. I either gave up or zoned out the whole time I was watching. But this video managed to keep me focused the whole 23 minutes and it felt like barely 5. And somehow, I understood everything. Best tutorial for cs animation ever, thanks diva !!

Out of all the tutorials I looked up, I clicked on yours because it was the longest one and honestly, very good guide! It shows the basic and the more intricate stuff about animating on CSP! I've been animating on ToonBoom Harmony for two years in my university's computer lab. Since I like drawing on CSP more, I got CSP EX specifically for animating but since it's a new app I have no idea where are the tools I need to start animating- This was very helpful, thank you very much for the guidance! Also, I think your head turn animation has definitely improved~

I appreciate the thorough explanation of the layers! It's the part I've struggled with the most. I was seriously planning to just make the cels in an illustration file type and copy and paste them into an animation file type to keep from complicating the process, but you made it seem less scary. I still find the animation file type a little confusing and intimidating, but that's probably because I don't know the ins and outs of the features yet lol.

I think if you got really long projects and want to keep things organised you can export the different time line sequences and edit them together later in a different program like adobe premiere or something.

This is so off topic, but I'm curious. Let's say you're proud of some key frames in your animation but have to stop for the day, what do you do? Is there a menu in the app that allows you to come back to it after you close the app, if so, how good does it save? Do you have to export the whole thing to save it even while they're still sketched out keyframes? If so, how do you put it back there again.

When you save the file as ".clip" aka clip studio format file, when you load the file everything will be the same as when you left off

so in order to put the colors, you have to separate the colors for each part (Ex: for the hair, skin, etc) into separate animation folders? and how do you drew over the lineart after making the animation folder? is it onto a new layer?🥺

Great tutorial though it hinges on someone already having an understanding of the program as a base. I am a baby no hands when it comes to CSP and am still learning on how people can color so fast. I don't get vector layers or how people make this look so seamless. I get that once I understand the basics then going back to this it will seem clearer. I just do sketches and wanted to animate the sketches for things but I still have a lot of work to do it seems.
