Hey Nicca! thanks for the tutorial!, do you know of a way to import animation to After effects with all it's folders? I would like to composite there.

I export as image sequnce and comoposite them. It may not perfect but I think it's easiest way to manage file / folder. You can turn on/off folder to export them seperately. I wish this help you.

Thanks for the help! I learned something new I didn't know about CSP's timeline function! I had struggles with changing the amount of frames and the division of frames. I can now adjust them! Appreciate the knowledge and thanks for sharing it. Your animations here on YT was really amazing to see! I was er...really jealous of your skill and was about to skip this video (I thought I knew how to al least make a timeline, folder and cel... but I held on to the end and was awarded with a "jem" of knowledge for hanging on.

you can use pro to animate to. but it will limit timeline playback time to 24 frames.

how do you shorten the animation cel lenght? everytime you make a new cel it ocuppies 4 frames, what if you want it to be 2 or 1 frame only?

when you create new cel. If you select at current cel on timeline it will try to make same length as before. so just select which frame you want to add new cel (ex. next frame) and add new cel. it will create new cel at selected frame.

Out of curiosity, do you prefer CSP or Toonboom harmony?

I never use toonboom before. I think it's up to your style of work. Toonboom has feature about rigging. If you like puppet style + extra hand draw, Toonboom mayworth to try. If you concentrate on hand draw and draw frame by frame, CSP may enough for you.

If use PRO. It limit time line. so, working with 8fps will be 3seconds. If use EX I'll set 24 fps from begin.

Clip studio PRO. you can set timeline playback time only 24 frames. Clip studio EX. you can set your timeline playback time as long as you want.

I'm not sure what is your problem. please try to do step by step 1. create animation folder 2. create new cel. it will be raster layer. 3. delete that layer(it should be layer "1" at layer panel 4. create new vector layer. it should be layer "1" replace old one. 5. right now. when you create new cel. it will be vector layer

I created a timeline and it's layer was raster layer that's why when I add vector layer I can't draw on it, and when I tried what you have said, I deleted all the layer on the animation folder and add vector layer and that's it, I can add another animation cel now 😭😂😍 I just started to learn CSP just 2 days ago ..I'm a beginner at CSP that's why I'm so confused at everything! A topic like this needs narration. CSP's animation angle is way too complicated and simply dragging your cursor around does nothing. At the very least you could've typed up more explanations.
