Good video, thanks. I saw that the graphic of the club head was a driver head because although you were swinging an 8 iron you still had driver selected as the club in use. Perhaps in the next video you could try changing the club selected and see if the graphic changes to show an iron head?

Yes, it will be changed.

Thanks for the comment Dean! I always just leave it on driver. Because the unit is accurately measuring the ball data, the club selected is just for data (spreadsheet) purposes. Be careful about units that require you to select your actual club. That usually means they need your input to estimate the metrics (like the swing stick add on for this unit). If you're curious what it looks like, I changed the selected club in my swing stick video. Thanks for watching!!

Yes, you can change it. But you don't need to!

Would be good to test the tp5 pix balls

I just put the top of the sticker at 8” and works fine

Yeah I think there is a little of wiggle room in there!

They should provide more than 20 as god knows how long they'll last when the clubs are out in the rain etc, not to mention those who have 2 sets of clubs.... I just wrapped mine flush against the shaft (I asked the quesiton on a Facebook group about that too) It was actually hard to hold the club upright (as you would usually hold it) and then measure and then get the sticker on the correct spot. Wish I had thought about using the bag to prop the club up. Found the same thing with the battery. I just leave my unit plugged in now. Just easier that way. It's not like it can be used outside anyway.

Appreciate the comment! Funny how we have had similar issues. Shame about the battery. It's not the end of the world but you'd expect a brand new battery to operate as it should. As for the stickers, a few extra would have been nice but I'm actually going to be testing out some tape on Amazon to see if works. Stay tuned!!

@@HoselRocketGolf Hi, thanks for the video. I am currently setting up my unit as well and was wondering about no possibility to get additional club markers. Most plausible thing would be to try the 3M 9448a Tape, as this is what is printed on the ones coming with the unit but not sure whether there is another layer of something on top of it... Did you try this?
@HoselRocketGolfАй бұрын
@@mattdaniels6430 I have not yet tried other reflective tape but its on my short list of things to do!!

A little confused? Are all your swings being recorded on some websight - in a spreadsheet format that allows for a download? OK, I got all this cloud data - what do I compare/contrast it too? How does it help? You said it cool but.....
@HoselRocketGolf2 ай бұрын
Main uses are to analyze your club averages, compare your old swing to something new you're trying, or look back on say 6 months of improvement. I'll likely never use it but could be cool if friends/family come over, you could send them their shot data. If you go to 14:16 you can see it says "save session". This downloads a spreadsheet of all the shots you took with all the metrics. I don't believe anything is being stored in the cloud. Not a main selling point but a small feature some users enjoy unlike other software!
@fredford89952 ай бұрын
@@HoselRocketGolf Thank you for the explaination on compare old with new. I read the software manual, nothing is said about saving and retrieving a spreadsheet. Note it looks like the saved spreadsheet is only good for Driving Range.
@HoselRocketGolf2 ай бұрын
@@fredford8995 Yes I believe it is for the driving range only!

What type of wedges are you using that are so aggressive?

amzn.to/4fv9Bt7 Love them but they are definitely aggressive lol

You can have the unit plugged in while using the unit. Also with this being an indoor unit I would always have this plugged in, then you wouldn't have to worry about the battery.
@HoselRocketGolf2 ай бұрын
That’s true however you wouldn’t think there would be any issues only being a week old!
