Random 1v1s are by far the WORST way to practice, people just use unrealistic, op weapons whenever you are trying to be realistic, and when it is a realistic 1v1 they just cheat.

One of the best tips out there is change your sens till you can only do about 1-2 360's. At first it'll feel slow, but it'll teach you to play as a arm player and not a wrist player. It's helped me with consistency and aim.

Its a good tip but my aim is good, and i have 40x45 mousepad and it just wouldnt be comfortable to swing my arm that much in game

I feel like the main thing is staying calm in fights. When u get stressed or nervous u make a lot of wrong decisions peeks and miss alot of shots and edits. When staying calm ur more composed and can edit quicker make better decisions and give yourself the best fighting chance

quick tip, if you dont wanna play ranked bec youre afraid your gonna lose rank make a alt acount and set a goal to see how high of a rank you can get and then afterward you have had good practice you will have a lot of confidence in fighting and will be better at ranked over all

I feel like map knowledge is way underrated. Simply put, anyone's first match in any new Chapter with a brand new map is not going be as good as how they'll play later on in that Chapter after playing in all the different parts of the map. There are people who abuse rifts in the jungle. It doesn't take a mechanically sound player to pull of learning where the rifts are, and abuse it for example. Map knowledge, where the best angles for high ground is. In Counterstrike, Quake for example, these games in fact have a player base that uses map knowledge as an actual tool in their arsenal, so any decent player would be good at a given map because the skills in map knowledge there can usually effect the outcome of the game more. As a non Battle royale game allows someone to get eliminated repeatedly in an actual match, then respawn and keep on playing, thus even in a loss there will be so much more learnt about the map, as opposed to being eliminated off the drop in Fortnite, because now you'll need to queue up again. I think being too confident in creative is a downfall, where it blinds ones ability to see where they need improving, especially they grind 1v1 creatives against players who really aren't that good either. It doesn't allow them to seek out what else are they not knowing about that's actually right there in front of them. So that being said, any Fortnite game modes that offer the actual map itself with the same rules / storm / etc, except with respawn available, would be great practice. So a regular duos / solos / squads where respawn is just available, even say 5 respawns allowed would still help so much in making progress in map knowledge.

Loved this video I give myself this advice all the time and it works very well, great video Play slow do everything slow edit drills and anything else especially if you’re messing up a lot. Once you really slow something down your brain can start to understand the sequence of buttons and timing a whole lot better and you can actually start to build muscle memory and naturally you start to do things faster and faster. There are a few things to practice to be great in Fortnite 1st mechanics, Aim/crosshair placement, fighting iq, game sense/knowledge, mentality

There's this one issue keeping me getting away from unreal it is my nervous playstyle do you know how to fix it when I am pushing someone i just can't keep up when build fighting when I see him placing a ramp above me i just give up and build boxes and fumble the whole fight and also be doing slow edits compared to my creative skills where I dominate by doing retakes fast edits and no stress I can do all that but having no stress is a major issue in ranked

if you genuinely want to become pro, make your main focus scrims and ranked, the best way to be ready for tournaments is already be extremely comfortable in the real game, u need experience to build intuition, and that intuition leads to your play style becoming faster and faster just naturally as you get more and more comfortable in game

I would say switch to only keyboard and mouse. And make sure you have a good fast keyboard and a good mouse and a good mousepad. That will make you enjoy it more and when you play put your controller away somewhere you can’t reach it so if you rage you won’t switch to controller bc that will make you not improve because you switch too often.
